Why does your description say it’s for boys? Is there a reason you’ve chosen to exclude all girls from being able to play with drills??

Are you only able to drill the pieces to the case? (2D) Can you drill them together so they stand upright, i.e. 3D

Only into the case. The pieces have no threads on them so you can stack them and layer them to make designs. You can screw them into the inside or outside of the case.

Is it possible to get extra drills?

Not sure but have seen similar drills in toy shops so you could take some of the bits to get a drill to fit
