Another great product from TIDRadio
Having own 3 TIDRadio H8 and see that how much they have improved since the introduction of the H8 a few years back. With the latest firmware. They actually listen to customer feedback and reviews. This is the 3rd and 4th H3 hand held from them. The first 2 HT were black and when I saw they have the bright florescent green one. I told myself I gotta have it. So shipping was super fast. Same day service and was excited to open them up and see. This review is going to be mainly the radio size and features. I've already tested the black case model and they perform excellent. Though they come with two antennas. They're aren't the very best. I have since replaces the antenna with a Smiley slim 465Mhz rubber ducky since this one HT is strictly for GMRS.I took several photos of the H3 and compared it next to the Yaesu FT-4X and the H3 bigger brother, the H8. Just to show the size comparison. As everyone knows the H8 puts out around 10watts but it's big in size. The H3 is much smaller and can be discreetly hide in your back pocket or bag with no one noticing that you even have the radio. But also, if you want to be more incognito, the green color is definitely not a preferred choice. The H3 is my go to radio now. I leave it in my bag that I take everywhere with me. I also carry two antennas, a Smiley slim 6* long 465Mhz antenna and a dual bander Signal Stick aka armpit tickler.Overall these are a great HT and much more preferred over any Baofeng models. Also noted this one has the latest firmware compare to the black case H3 I have. So far I haven't able to see any difference between the two firmware. Highly recommend these HT for the small carry.Lastly I had contacted TIDRadio and praising them how responsive they are to customers inquiries. They are also sending me two extra batteries as a gesture of their customer service. So this review will put me at owning 7 TIDRadio products.

One battery was defective, good support
From the start, I was a bit leery of this company but bought this set anyway to give as a gift. I liked the size of the radios though and decided to keep them and get another set to give as a gift. I'm glad I did because one of the battery packs is defective and will not charge. That would have caused all kinds of problems to get fixed if I'd given them as a gift. As it is, I'm having trouble getting any kind of support from the company. I tried the "Contact Us" form on their site but after running through their CAPTCHA three times I'm still not sure that any of my messages went through, and I've had no response in my email. No, not even in the spam folder. Of course, Amazon is willing to take the set back and send me a new one, but that's a hassle I don't need, getting this set back in its box and driving to the drop-off location. It would be easier to just buy a battery, and I'd be willing to, except they don't seem to be for sale on Amazon. I wish I'd known this earlier because I usually keep several batteries on hand for each of my radios and I was going to order 4 more for this pair. I'll give their support people one more day to get back to me but after that, the set gets returned and I get my money back.Edit: TIDRadio customer service reached out to me and offered to replace both batteries in my package, claiming that some first-generation batteries were defective, which has now been fixed with the latest batteries. The replacement batteries arrived today (I wish they'd included belt clips with them as I now have two clips and three working batteries) and are charging up properly. TIDRadio gets 5 stars for their good customer service.

Only one of the two radios actually worked
The radios are nice sized, but only one of them actually worked. Both would power up and show frequency, but only one of them would respond to commands on the keypad. The one that didn't, also did not receive or transmit, and would not even accept the keypad instruction to changer mode.Great idea, but with Quality Control concerns.
