You Could be a Superhero in These Things
First impressions:To preface, I tried a slightly less premium but still quite good variety of these gloves before switching to these for sizing reasons and because the strange stitching around the base of the fingers was starting to cause splintering pain and discomfort. With that said, I may have found my dream pair I have extensively searched for. I thought the sweatproof and waterproof features were just overexaggerated gimmicks - no, no; they literally keep your hands dry even when you sweat and the black part of them is completely hydro-impenetrable. They are such a joy to work with. I have also, yes at risk to life and limb, gone at them with a box cutter and knife and they have proven completely impenetrable to cuts and even pokes, and for a klutz like me that is a godsend. They fit amazingly well too. Again, I previously ordered a size too large which was still fittable but awkward; I had to really tug them down my wrist so the fingers weren't floppy on the ends. These size-down ones fit like an extra layer of skin, almost, but also loosely enough to not feel smothering or like they'll just fall off.I questioned the grip at first, but after spending some days breaking them in the grip has proven solid. I handle some very pricey and delicate items in my profession and I feel like I can climb up the walls like a gecko when wearing these; nothing slips to the point it almost feels magnetic.Overall, these are a gem I hope to keep around and use extensively for years to come. I am absolutely shocked and delighted at the pricepoint as well considering any gloves of remotely adequate quality usually cost a lot more. In fact the only cheap, manufactured feature I noticed is that the text and graphics on the back of them began peeling off like flimsy stickers within days of use, but I couldn't care less as long as they function. If they stand the test of time/wear and tear, I will continue buying more pairs.

Safe but brittle and zero breathing
Got these to handle very sharp knifes and swords, from small Roman Gladius, Japanese Katanas, English Bastard Swords, 6ft+ German Zweihänders and almost anything in between. These gloves do work and work well, as I still have all my fingers in place. What I ain’t too keep on them is the fact they felt brittle after a few weeks of use, leaving behind a few pieces of the rubber peeling off areas of the gloves. And they are not breathable, so unless you keep a little talc handy and inside the gloves, get ready for a nasty smell by your hands and the glove. All in all, it is a great product and recommended.

Worth Every Penny
Amazing gloves. I work with a lot of metal and there’s a ton of sharp edges and I was constantly cutting myself or hurting myself in one way or another. These gloves protect my entire hand, not just the finger tips. I haven’t had one injury, not even a scrape or minor cut, since I’ve been using these. And they last me about a month. So definitely worth the price.

Ok unless you have an animal with tiny, sharp teeth.
2.5 lb Toy Fox Terrier puppy. 3 months old. TINY SHARP teeth. I'd expect level 9 protection would be enough but his canines go right through the material. Look at the photo to see his paw. He's tiny. His teeth are piercing. If used with larger breeds I'm convinced this glove would work. Against a tiny little one with tiny, sharp teeth? Better than nothing, but not going to keep them from piercing your skin.

ANSI A9 Cut Resistant Gloves
These ProGuard-X Cut Resistant Work Gloves are ANSI A9 Cut Proof rated. They are gray in color with a thick black non-slip palm. I purchased these in size XL and they fit as expected. I bought these for my husband to wear when he's cutting using the chainsaw. I chose this item for the ANSI 9 rating and I am very happy with them.
