EssentialVitam-R Yeast Extract 125 g (Pack of 6)

I have hypertension so cut down on salt. I tried low salt Marmite and found it to be horrible. This stuff tastes better than regular Marmite and has way less salt than low salt Marmite. I'll not be going back to Marmite.

Best yeast extract ever, and I’ve tried a few. Please make it cheaper.

I was introduced to this at a relative's house and have not bought Marmite since. It is soooo much nicer, not quite as strong, it's got a bit of a sweeter taste. Everyone I have given it to since, has gone on to purchase it too.

In my opinion, the best low-salt yeast extract on the market. Not cheap but worth every penny.

I like it but it seems there's been a change in the ingredients from the previous ones I purchased, hence three star

WHY HAVE THEY CHANGED THE RECIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am really disappointed that it no longer has the really deep flavour that it had when I last bought my last jars, it now has a very celery flavour so will only be ok as an expensive stock for soups and casseroles. I previously loved it spread on toast (the champagne of vegan savoury spreads) and it’s just nowhere near as good and is much more sauce consistency as appossed to thicker spread like marmite, so when I opened the jar it spilt over the work surface as I hadn’t realised they had changed the formula.Gutted that I no longer will be buying something that I have used for the past 20+ years as my really lovely morning spread.PLEASE CHANGE THE FORMULAR BACK TO THE ORIGINAL.

I much prefer this to marmite, it is a gentler experience for the tongue. I use it on toast and add a spoonful to casseroles and/or soups.
