These are so easy to install! I just took out the old fluorescent tubes, replaced with these, and done! These are definitely brighter than the original 40watt T12 bulbs that I replaced. Exact model of old bulbs: FB40T12/CW. I did not have to move the clip around in the original troffer housing to hold the new LED bulbs like other people had to do. It was a direct fit.This option is definitely easier and cheaper than re-wiring the troffer for other brands of bent T8 LED bulbs (for direct-wire, bypassing the ballast). The other option is replacing the whole troffer with LED panels which is even more work and usually more expensive.Very happy with my purchase. I'll update if anything changes (just installed them today).

I installed this several months ago. Easy drop in replacement for a 40 Watt U-shaped fluorescent tube.Note: If on a motion sensor, you may want to verify it is a relay type sensor. I put this in our laundry room that has a non-relay motion sensor. The LED's glow dimly when it is off due to the leakage current. I was going to install a relay but then decided that I liked having the low-level light on in there. Kind of like having a night light.

Would buy again pulled the old cfl out install new led and that's it works great, hope they hv a long life. Happy withh the purchase so far, I had a Hundred Dollar 2ft X 2ft kitchen ceiling light cfl, didn't want to lose the cost of the light. To upgrade for 40 dollars was a lot better than buying a new light and having to install it.

Same form, fit and function as the unbend fluorescent but no delay in turning on.

I absolutely hate the fixture in our that requires these U-shaped bulbs. The fluorescent bulbs in the form-factor are expensive (~$12), do not last very long (replaced every 2 years), and are 40W each.I have been looking for a LED replacement for a while, and they were either not available in Canada, or required re-wiring to bypass the ballast of the light fixture.These are 17.5W each (less than half the energy of the previous fluorescents) and the light quality is fine. The bulb is a little shorter than the previous, so a minor adjust was needed to make it fit.They've been running a month now. Will update this post in a year as to their longevity.

My photos show one of the old fluorescent tubes that I replaced with these LED ones. The old tubes were way bigger (1 wouldn’t even fit in the box that held the 2 replacement lights), yet the LED lights work perfectly in their place. Just popped out the old tubes, plugged in the new ones, and now we have light! I personally prefer a slightly warmer light - these are bright white - but I think I’ll get used to it. I would highly recommend these. Love that the packaging is minimal too.

Wasn't able to get advertised brightness out of these tubes on my florescent fixture. Perhaps it wasn't fully compatible with the ballast.
