Long lasting battery, easy setup, clear picture
I got this Roku Battery Camera Plus after getting frustrated with another brand, the battery on that one died constantly. This one has been going strong for over a month now and hasn’t needed a recharge yet, which is already a huge improvement. The listing says that the battery can last up to 2 years so I’m so excited to see how long this lasts.I installed mine right onto my shutter (see photo) and it was super easy to mount. All the accessories and the charging cable were included, which was a nice bonus.I’m using it outside, and so far it’s held up perfectly in both rain and full sun. The image quality is clear, the spotlight is bright, and the motion alerts work really well. Can’t speak for winter yet, but I’m impressed with how it’s performing so far.Highly recommend if you want a reliable outdoor camera with a battery that actually lasts.

Easy set up and clear picture!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought the Roku Battery Camera Plus, but I’ve been really impressed. Setup was simple. The video quality is crisp and clear, even at night, and I love that I can check in on my front yard from my phone. The two-way audio will work great, I suspect, for talking to delivery drivers. I also alreadyuse it as a pet monitor when I bring it inside—my dog has no idea I can hear her whining at the door 😂 The weather resistance is no joke either. It’s already been through a thunderstorm and a few Texas heatwaves with no issues at all.If you’re looking for a no-fuss, reliable wireless security camera that’s budget-friendly but doesn’t skimp on features, this is it. Roku nailed it with this one.

Camara
This camera has been awesome for keeping an eye on my house. It was super easy to set up — I just connected it to the app and Wi-Fi, and it was ready to go. The picture is really clear, even at night, and I get alerts whenever there’s movement.I love being able to check the live feed from my phone anytime, and the two-way audio is great for talking to delivery people or even just saying hi to my dog while I’m at work. Definitely worth it if you want something simple and reliable!

Good luck
Do yourself a favor, try another brand of camera first. I had so much trouble just getting though basic steps and lots of troubleshooting for it to finally never work.First, you have to download and install the Roku Smart Home app on your phone. No problem. Done. Then, you have plug the camera in, unfold the base, and press and hold the very tiny setup button underneath until it says "ready to connect".Then, after selecting the Outdoor Wired Camera in the Add New Device list in the app, you tell the Roku app you heard it say "Ready to Connect". So far so good right?Well, next pops up this QR code. I could not get the camera to see it. I moved it closer, farther, angled it, left, right, shade, light. Finally realized the QR code is slightly cut off on the edges. If you look at the 3 black boxes at the corners of the code, you can see they're not completed/squared off, so part of the QR code is MISSING. Turns out after Googling, it's a development bug that happens on some phones. Ugh. Ok, no problem, use daughter's smartphone, hope it doesn't have the problem.Got a little further. This is after 30 minutes of trying to get the prior steps to work, keep in mind. So this time, it displays properly on my daughter's phone and I heard "QR code scanned". Yay.I click Next and wait for it to connect to the network. A little bit of time goes by, and then I hear "Unable to connect to network". Yes it's 2.4Ghz. No there's no MAC filtering going on or whitelisting needed. Yes the pwd is correct. Yes all other devices can connect to the network no problem.Back to Google. Turns out I'm not the only one that has had this happen to. Tried some of the troubleshooting steps (just keep retrying, reset device, make sure phone is on 2.4ghz (it always was), turn off LTE, I could go on and on.Seriously, I must've spent an hour trying to get these things to work. I'm done, they're going back in the box and back to Amazon.Roku, if you read this, have your freaking developers at least fix the QR code display issue on some of the phones. Yes, I have a recent phone, it's not that old, I just upgraded about 8 months ago. And do something about your software/networking being unable to connect to a basic 2.4Ghz network, or start supporting both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands. This isn't the year 2004 anymore. This just shows you did not and do not test on enough devices or put enough money into your QA department.

Clear and Reliable Outdoor Camera with Free Live View
I’ve been using the Roku Outdoor Camera for a while now, and it works very well. The video is clear, and it gives peace of mind knowing I can always check the live feed for free anytime. It’s simple to set up and easy to use. The only downside is that if you want to see any recorded history or use extra features, you need a subscription. But for basic live viewing, it does exactly what I need.

Review
Wow, Blown away! The camera’s color software and components, really look sharp!! (Full HD1080 display resolution). I noticed that the process lit up the sky in the end (metaphorically). The easy setup, no mess, and the APP: was easy to navigate..I just wish the package included a small bag - Nothing extravagant..Just a plastic bag..with their logo on it! Should I dare say, a free gift! The bag is a safety net, if the installation doesn’t go your way. I.e. Actually, it happened..screw slipped out of my hand and it fell to the ground (from 2nd floor). Also, when - holding screw with your drill bit attached to the drill (in your hand) (7 out of 10x). Especially if you’re working from within the house on the second floor..absolutely hanging out the window, working sideways. Those battles are lost. Thank you.
