Sea-Band Anti-Nausea Ginger Gum 24 Count & Dramamine Motion Sickness Relief Less Drowsey 8 Count Bundle

I use the Sea-Band wrist bands and then supplement with the ginger gum for any breakthrough nausea. The combination really works for me. I think the gum tastes good for what it is and the packaging makes it easy to pop in your purse or bag when out for a day on the water. If you suffer from motion sickness and I recommend you give it a try. There really does seem to be something to it and I have tried all sorts of things in the past. This combination with the wrist bands works best for me.

I don't know why when I check reviews for the Sea Band Ginger Gum I only see reviews for the acupressure band made by Sea Band, but this review is for the gum, not the band.My wife, who's in her 60's, gets unexplained nausea almost every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. It usually passes after a half hour and it has not caused vomiting, but her doctor can't explain why it happens and his anti-emetic prescriptions (Zofran, Zantac) did not seem to make a difference. She also tried Dramamine and peppermint extract, but neither made it go away any faster. However, this ginger gum seems to work very quickly and does the trick. Just one or two gum tablets and she feels fine soon after. She now carries them with her in her purse and so far (a couple of weeks) they've worked every time. We still can't explain the nausea but at least she can deal with it.

This helps with pregnancy nausea but the potency of the product is not long lasting. Good for a quick chew to help with the nausea but then I spit it out within a few minutes.

This is an okay gum for the first 5 minutes. It is so strong in flavor for those first 5 minutes, so it overcomes whatever other feeling you may have going on for those 5 minutes, as you are focused on getting over the strength of that ginger flavor haha, and sometimes 5 minutes of nausea relief is all you need. But if you are looking for a long term solution, this gum wont be enough :)

My wife has a lot of stomach issues. This gum helps her settle her stomach down when nothing else will. Within minutes of chewing this gum, her stomach settles down. She loves this gum. She does not go without it.

I really like this gum. It has a strong ginger flavor but I enjoy that. It loses flavor relatively quickly and stop working when you spit it out but I still use it frequently to help with certain parts of my day or when vomiting feels inevitable (first trimester). Definitely helps and I’ve purchased again.

As a terminal cancer patient for 8 1/2 years straight, I have tried about everything, both prescribed & natural, for nausea. This gum is way too strong & has a burning feeling/taste when you put it in your mouth. It’s so strong I had to spit it out nearly immediately. It tasted awful & burned. For me, “Simply Gum” Ginger, works much better without the burn. I wrote a review under that gum on Amazon if you need to compare the two gums. Hope this helps others decide if you are comparing different gums for nausea reasons. Good luck!
