how many 9" pies can you make with one box?

Only one 9" pie with a little left over or make it a little thicker.

I'm making graham cracker fruit cake--I'm nervous about using the gluten free - this is a very expensive project--many gluten free recipients Help.

These graham cracker crumbs are great I use them for magic cookie bars, cheesecake & cheesecake bars. I originally purchased the graham crackers because members of my family have celiac disease the crackers were ok they were on the thick side so we didn't care for them then I had no choice but to try the crumbs because I didn't have many options at the time. I have been using them since, you won't be disappointed people don't know that my cheesecake is gluten free!!

I have a recipe from my pre-gf days that I want to replicate but it needs a chocolate cracker crust. Has anyone used this to make 1? How?

Yes! I found a recipe on the Hershey's website that recommends Vanilla wafers (which I've also used but I used the graham crackers for a chocolate cheesecake crust). CHOCOLATE CRUMB CRUST: Heat oven to 350°F. Stir together 1-1/4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (about 40 wafers, crushed), 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa in medium bowl. Stir in 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter or margarine. Press mixture onto bottom and 1/2 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes; cool slightly.
