Simply indispensable
Just to give you some idea, I used to use a dish rag and a rolling pin to crush ice and it was a miserable experience. You can damage the pin or rip the rag, or shoot ice everywhere and plain make a mess, afterwich you'll find your crushed ice fused to the rag. There had to be a better way, so I ordered this and its amazing. With an actual mallet, you can focus your force far better, its made of wood so it won't damage the canvas bag, which is very sturdy, the canvas absorbs the excess water, the ice dosent stick to it and it's sewn all around with a flap, so no mess. And if you want to save some leftover crushed ice, simply pop the bag in freezer, it'll keep your crushed ice loose and clean. I love this kit, I know you'll love it too.

No more slamming bricks of ice on the counter!
This was a christmas gift for my partner and they’re completely obsessed. Once a week we buy two 10 lb bags of ice both for their chronic ice habit and for their drinks. Our freezer melts them slightly and then freezes again so they become giant 10lb bricks of ice. The amount of slamming on the counter always when i had a headache, the big chunks filling our freezer that we couldn’t separate, it’s all a thing of the past!This mallet works SO WELL. It doesn’t break the plastic (sometimes there’s tiny holes) and it’s so much quieter and it works incredibly well! Just 10 hits of the mallet and almost the whole block is back to its pebble ice form. It’s a godsend. We’re putting in a hook to display it above our sink i love this mallet so much.

Satisfecho de la compra.
La bolsa y el mazo son de buena calidad. Quedé especialmente conforme con el mazo ya que su tamaño y peso es ideal para triturar sin mucho esfuerzo el hielo.He visto críticas a la bolsa. En mi caso no he usado tantas veces la bolsa como para que se maltrate, aunque yo la veo de suficientemente bien hecha. Claro que con el uso va a empezar a maltratarse por los golpes. Habrá que ver qué tanto dura y cuando se rompa, sugiero buscar el mismo material en una mercería y hacer otra bolsa, ya que creo que lo más valioso del paquete es el mazo.
