What does this dryer cost to run per hour

To be honest it’s pennies, I actually forgot to switch it off one night and honestly less than a pound (phew) lol

Does this come on as soon as plugged in? Could I put it on a 'smart plug' to get it to switch on at 11:30 when my cheap rate electricity price starts?

It has a manual on/off switch so I would assume if left on plugged into the timer then once the timer turns on it will use electric via the timer.

It states 1p a hour to run, was this taken before price hike, of do what would it be now

Was probably taken 20 years ago. You'd have to be on a rate of 4p/kW for this to cost 1p and hour to run. Misleading advertising for this product.
