I really like this product and recommend it for any skin type. I am over 60, larger pores and oily or shiny complexion. Nothing is going to make my pores disappear but this primer does not make them look worse and does help hide them. It doesn't seem to settle in the creases or wrinkles on my face and it does give my skin more of a matted finish. It goes on smoothly and makes a great base for my foundation. I was using smashbx but I like this better, less shiny skin for me. My husband uses it as a matting product, which now replaces a premium brand name he used in the past. He likes it a lot too. His older skin type is more normal to dry. I hope it doesn't get discontinued.

One of the silkiest mattifying primers ever! It just feels so good to my skin and evens everything out. No stickiness, or drying - just silky smoothness. Sometimes I wear it alone with setting spray for a natural look. Lasts all day. I absolutely am obsessed with this Primer. Better than the more expensive name brands. I have purchased 2X already - this is my new Go to!

I'm new to the primer game but I finally tried a sample size of green primer from Ulta that had been in my makeup drawer a while and I really liked what it did. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it online or in store (not sure what the current name of the product is and there was no one to help me in store) so I gave this (along with a couple others) a try. I was primarily looking for redness reduction so I've tried several "green" primers. It's similar consistency to the Ulta brand- very smooth/slick so it provides a great base for makeup- even my hands are slick after applying this. It's not creamy like the others I've tried but is still pretty matte. For redness reduction, it's a bit better than the others but I'd say it's average for that. Start with a very small amount as a little goes a long way. I'll probably keep using this one!

I did a ludicrous amount of research on grippy, dewy, hydrating primers before buying this—YouTube videos, reviews, etc—so that’s what I thought this was. It isn’t.This is one of those silky, mattefying , pore-smoothing primers: the kind that Smashbox first made famous. As such, it’s great! Also— as such—it’s at a nice price point. Ergo, three stars.However, as with all such products, the tube is pretty tiny. If you use it once a day, full face, it’ll be gone in less than two weeks.

I’m new to primers, but so far, I really like this one. It goes on smoothly and seems to blur wrinkles. Doesn’t feel weighty or sticky. Foundation can be applied right away, no waiting. Nice size for traveling as well.
