I've just bought this light, but moth season is unfortunately over, I was wondering does this light catch only a few or does it attract lots of them.

It will entirely depend on your location and habitat. This type of lamp is good for gardens as it is not overly bright. So shouldn't disturb neighbors. Temperature and weather also affect the catch. It has brought in good numbers of moths in my trap.
