These fit my VP Racing jugs. There are no issues with the two I've put into service. Sooner or later you're gonna damage or lose a cap and it's great having these for ready spares.

Racing Fuels 3045 Vent Caps- for 5.5 Gallon VP Jug Can, Black Top Hat- Plastic, 24mm (Pack of 12)I got these as replacement vent caps for several different brands of gas cans that I have. They appear to be quality solid plastic and they are threaded correctly. The only problem I’m having is the height of the cap. They are too tall to seal down on some of the vent stems. A couple of my cans have tall vent stems and these caps will screw down and seal off the vent hole. On the rest of my cans the vent stem is much shorter. The cap will screw on and bottom out against the can but there is still space between the vent hole and the inside of the cap. There are no gaskets to form a seal. It will keep debris out but sloshing fuel can still leak out of the vent. I’m going to have to see if I can find some sort of material about 3/16 of an inch thick to make gaskets out of. More trouble than they should be worth.

A perfect replacement, I wish they were like the original cap but these will work just fine. I checked a few and the few I checked did have a gasket in them. A good price for what they are
