Fun, easy to use, great for adults or kids!
I purchased this set as a gift and gave one to my 4 year old, one to my 17 year old and the other to my mom, who is 70. It was hit with all three ages! Very easy to use and almost therapeutic to paint with. Love them!

Fun!
These are cute and so much fun! I wasn’t sure how the watercolors would be but they’re great!

Pastel pigments
The images are lovely but the “pigments” not vibrant - very pale. Might use these booklets with watercolor pencils instead.

Grandkids love these!
I wanted an easy project for my grandkids to do while camping. They were perfect with everything included. Small enough that it kept their attention. Fun to save for bookmarks!

Wonderful and fun
Great creative relaxing activity on your own or with a group. Gave as a gift several different sets. Get a few more paint brushes if you plan on using 1 set with a group.

Not for me
There are 3 packs of 20, so if you’re not happy, then it could be 60 reasons. It’s a fine set, just that I opened it to see it, and now I have buyers remorse. The problem is, I don’t know how to watercolor. I know I will learn if I try, but now that I’ve ventured here, it’s apparently this technique doesn’t appeal to me. Oh well, I tried. The colors and palettes provided are great, and plentiful. Either I paint too lightly and it’s faint, or I cannot control my brush, and then underlying ink is insignificant. My books marks warp slightly but that’s to be expected and, duh, would flatten out if placed in a book. So, it’s due to my incapabilities the set doesn’t work for me. I’m older, and find then sketches a bit too small for me. However, it is an excellent on-the-go set. I’d hoped to take it with on trip in a few days, which I’m sad it won’t work for me. However, on the bright side, I’m sure it will brighten some young lasses as a gift. Personal, as an elder, I find the toddler water pen books more fun. Wish they had those for adults.

Very fun and each makes a nice gift.
These would be great for kids' easter baskets -- each booklet is complete with a brush and paints, the paintbrushes are stored inside of the thick cardboard backing. I kept two and gave my sister one, and she said she loved it. Very relaxing to do a little watercolor as a creativity break. (Btw, I'm 60 and my sister is 65, so clearly these can be gifted to kids of all ages. : )
