They're not the highest of quality chrome finishes but for the money they are good enough. The threads are good. I'm using two of them to make putting up a garden hammock easier.

These shackles are well made and should be extremely strong. As a tie down piece for a truck or van they’re probably a bit of overkill because the anchor point on the vehicle would likely fail before these did. For normal diy, household tasks a lighter gauge would probably be more useful.

Use them for trailing arms on a tractor (pitch machinery). They work ok but!!The pin can work lose easily, even when used with loctite. Had to swap the pin for a 50mm bolt.If using them for short periods only such as lifting/towing, then they are ideal.
