Are there any cheap alternatives. I need something for my blocked ears?

I bought THE OTO vent balloon valve in April. Maybe it's slightly better but hasn't cured the pain in my ear and it's now jan. It lets air out of my bad head sometimes but hoping the earpooper will do a better job of fixing what j think is ETD. Before spending £350+ on a private ENT doctor as the NHS waiting list is getting no shorter during this pandemic.

Can this be used if you have fluid behind the ear drum to relieve pressure

Yes mine was for my mum and it get rid of the fluid in her ear which suction could not.

the end cap has a piece of sponge inside, is this some kind of filter or has some stray packaging got inside?

Don't remember that,maybe contact manufacturer.

Does it help with menieres?
