Features: :: Case width: 35.0mm :: Edge thickness: 5.0mm :: Overall case thickness: 9.3mm :: Water resistance: 5 ATM - 50m :: Display: 12 hour large; 24 hour small E Ink Technology Electronic ink is a proprietary material that is processed into a film for integration into electronic displays, and used in many popular ebooks today. Revolutionary in concept, electronic ink is a fusion of chemistry, physics and electronics to create millions of tiny microcapsules about the diameter of a human hair. Each microcapsule contains positively charged white particles and negatively charged black particles suspended in a clear fluid that migrates with the application of an electric field to produce an ink-on-paper appearance. To form an E Ink electronic display, the ink is printed onto a sheet of plastic film that is laminated to a layer of circuitry. The circuitry forms a pattern of pixels that can then be controlled by a display driver. These microcapsules are suspended in a liquid "carrier medium" allowing them to be printed using existing screen printing processes onto virtually any surface, including glass, plastic, fabric and even paper. Ultimately electronic ink will permit most any surface to become a display, bringing information out of the confines of traditional devices and into the world around us. Increesingly contented.
After having used this watch for some month now I tend to find it a still better buy. It runs smoothly (crashes a few times like all digital items), and the form and design attract me more and more. The Bang & Olufsen of watches more or less. Recommended!

Attactive, comfortable watch, but missing a few options
I'd give this watch a 4/5 except for one issue--there is no way to take it out of 24 hour time mode in the main time/date screen. If I was a cop or living some place where military time is the norm it would be fine, but for me, I don't want look at my watch and see something like 15:35 as the current time. So I leave it on the screen that displays time only, and that screen uses the 12 hour clock with am/pm. Ironically, there is no way to switch this screen to 24 hour mode, which is fine for me but I could see others that might like to use this screen who might also want to be able to set it to 24 hour mode.Other than this complaint the watch is great and I've had several comments from people about how nice it looks. If you don't mind this 24 hour mode oddness, I'd recommend this watch.

Nightmare; do not buy
you will never be able to set this watch and have it stay that way. learning how to set it is bad enough; having it reset itself constantly because you bump the chair or something is even worse. I do not recommend this watch to anyone!

Great watch, with one flaw - no light!
I bought this world time watch to replace my Nixon "The Connect" World Time watch. Upon receiving the watch, I was impressed by the packaging - very nice box, and when I opened it, I was excited how the watch appeared. Sculptural, curved to fit your wrist, and really cool looking. Ok, aesthetics down, I wanted to see if functionality met my needs. I pulled out the instructions which are laughably terrible... clearly written by non-English speakers, the instructions are confusing. However, with only two buttons, the watch is very well designed and easy to figure out (my old watch had six buttons, which had to be pressed in all different orders etc... I always had to consult the manual). I also had a problem where the day of the week didn't seem to "sync" with the year (e.g. it showed the date as being a Sunday when it was really a Monday) but re-setting the date solved that. I was able to set an alternate time zone for my most frequently-called location (in this case, Hong Kong) and when I was traveling was able to keep it on Hong Kong time with a nice big display, and also see home time at the same time. The only downside I've found to this watch so far is that it does not have a light (!!) which I find absolutely astounding (I keep thinking I'll find one somewhere)at this price point. However the "e-ink" is visible in very low light conditions. But if you're in a movie, unless it's a snow scene, you won't be able to tell what time it is! Overall I'm happy with this watch and am keeping it.Pro's:- Great size, very attractive watch- Clear display. Can be black on white or white on black with just a button press.- Very easy to set and scroll between time zones- Big battery screw access port in the back - won't need a jeweler to replace batteries- Multiple display modes - huge numbers or small. Modern or classic.- No annoying beeps when you push the buttonsCon's:- NO LIGHT!!! but visible in low light. But seriously, no light?!?- Instructions a bit difficult to read (download latest ones from site) but simplicity of watch solved that problem- Band is a little cheap-looking (plastic)... concerned how it will hold up- Customer service from manufacturer was prompt but barely in English (clearly this is a Chinese company)I'll update this review in a few months with a report on durability. Knowing this is a Made in China watch, I think the price should be less, but overall I am happy with the functionality and look of this watch.Update one month later:Well, I should have been suspicious that the watch manual has a reference to removing the battery to reboot the watch if it freezes. It has done this once in a month which is once too many... it's ridiculous. You remove the battery, then have to re-set the watch again. I am likely going to return this watch. Poor quality. Sorry.

Perfect only 1 draw back
It is a beautiful watch, it is better looking in person than on the site. It is also very easy to use and view. You can change or set something literally at the click of a button. The only drawback is the timezones are only in 1 hour increments and I am in Afghanistan which is at a 30 min increment. I have it currently set for Dubai and NYC and NYC is 30 min off because the watch does not allow you to configure. You input the times and it calculates the time for the different time zones. But i still love the watch, its just as big of head turner as my Black Dice time piece.

Only for very large wrists
Very cool watch, attractive, but the design makes it wearable only for people with large wrists. The watch and band are directly integrated together without a flexible joint, so the polyurethane band does not flex for the first half inch on either side of the watch. It would only be comfortable for someone with a 3 inch wide wrist or wider. Had to return it as unwearable.

Stop working after 2 months
It simply stopped working after 2 months, it was still under warrenty so I contacted them. I never heard anything back after numerous attempts. I gave up. The watch is too thick and too heavy anyway.

Blurred numbers.
This item arrived on time however some of the figures displayed on the watch was blurred or did not have crisp edges which was not acceptable and therefore returned. I am not sure if this was a inherent fault with this ink technology but i did not want to risk having a replacement.
