For over $6 (including shipping) I just got 2 short strips of flimsy foam rubber of the sort that dissolves under any kind of wear, not to mention sweat. Totally misrepresented product. Total rip-off. You can probably find a roll 20 times longer for the same price at a hardware store.my advice: steer clear of this product.

These foam strips work as they should and dry out quickly. I’ve always just stuffed paper in my hat bands but.the paper retains moisture and I was getting mold on my hats as the area where the paper is never dried out completely with day to day use. You probably will only need one package of two stripes as the length of the strip plus the thickness fills a very big space. I have bought multiple packages for use in other hats though.

It works to reduce the size of a hat. The instructions say to place it on the inside of the sweatband. This is a little ambiguous, and it actually works best if the adhesive side is place on the inside of the hat, rather than the inside of the sweatband. The adhesive is not very resistant to sweat and oil. Removing the paper backing is an exercise in frustration. I had to use a pocketknife and tweezers to separate the backing from the adhesive. It shouldn't be that hard to make it easier to remove the backing.

This hat size reducer is perfect. I bought it for a straw hat I that was ever so slightly too big (a frequent problem I have). I affixed the foam strip to the underside of the sweatband (in the front of that hat) and then reset the sweatband in its correct position so that the foam strip was between the sweatband and the hat itself, and it works perfectly. I now feel that I can wear the hat without it being blown off.Whoever invented this should be given a medal.

These are hat reducers. Save yourself some dollars and purchase some self-adhesive foam weather stripping for the sizing. The product received was definitely not worth the money. A whole roll of weather foam striping is less expensive than the advertised product. Product came shipped in torn envelope, so packing and product were inferior. I would definitely not purchase again.

I purchased a straw hat and it came bigger than I expected. A friend of mine told me about hat resizer available and after numerous research I tried this. It’s fairly easy to use and to my surprise it really did helped shrink my hat size by 1 full size. Works very well and am happy with the fit.

Anyone that wears a cowboy hat and lives in a place where seasons change (I mean really change, from 90 degrees to 20 below Zero) knows that the fit of your hat changes with the seasons and the length of your hair. These will help with that, assuming your hat is big enough to start with.I like that these are trim-able to give you a perfect fit, at least until you cut you hair.They can be a bit of a pain to get the tape backing started off of the adhesive.We'll see how they hold up sweat, heat, cold and time. So far so good.

Well I can't believe what I paid for these four pieces of weather stripping. Oh well.Thanks anyway,Steve Skidmore
