Teaching Drama to Little Ones: 12 Ready-to-Go Lesson Plans for Kids Age 3-7

Very useful well organised book that has helped me with ideas when planning and meets the need of a subject that eats ideas as fast as they can be tried and delivered. A useful point of reference for lesson planning across a range of skills and activities. As a volume looks a little sleight but delivers some handy ideas. Job done.

The lessons plans are well set out but there are only something like 12. It would be great to extend the series and expand the lessons over a year. I would also like to see a progression over different year groups. You could use the lessons with one year group but what do you do the following year? A series could help build a drama curriculum over a year and across year groups. I love the book other than that.

Excellent for KS2 and novices to teaching Drama. Highly recommended

This is a God send! I've been teaching Drama/dance for a while now but only to older kids. I recently got a job teaching younger ones and have been panicking, not knowing what to do with them and how to build these skills from the ground up. The way this book is written, laid out, and the activities it includes, means that my job is now so much easier. It is great inspiration and has instilled a little more confidence in me. Thank you!
