First impressions and setup tips
Read a few reviews prior to purchasing. Will update review if there’s a degradation in quality (especially if any leaks occur).Purchased this weight to help with batting speed/strength. Great workout. Lots of videos online for drills. The water instability adds to the workout. The bonus is if I get tired of it like all the other equipment, it deflates and stores without taking up space. For setup I read some confusion in previous reviews. Yes, the setup tools feel flimsy, but it all works as expected. I recommend using a funnel and keep a towel handy to reduce water mess. Once you’ve added your preference in water weight, fill the rest with air using the pump. The pump works to inflate or deflate. Attach the blue hose to the blue nozzle to add air. Don’t over-inflate. There is a built-in valve in the weight, so if you detach the black water inlet adapter and it starts leaking air (as other reviews mention), loosen the spring valve by pressing it down a few times. Reattach the adapter and pump, fill with air, and when you detach, the spring-loaded valve should limit any leakage so you can screw on the sealing cap.Hope this helps.

I thought it would've popped like a balloon by now.
I honestly didn't think this would last for very long, but it's still going. So good marks on durability. I'm even more shocked the straps haven't caused any problems, but they're still going strong.I initially got this because I was staying in hotels a lot, but stopped as it was too annoying to fill every day, and also, not losing the adapter to fill it can get old.Where this shinned was when we went camping, and having something to exercise with, that didn't take up a lot of room on the way up and the way back was a big deal. Also, filling it once for a few days of use is where I started to like it.The workouts you can do with it is fine, if a little bit limited, but this will do the job for the most part. And the marks on the side will help you determine how much weight you want. It's honestly not bad at all, and best part is, it's a pretty good value.

Hidden Lever Lifts up keeps bag tight & full
After watching YouTube, there’s a lever inside that you can lift up so that the bag stays full of air WHILE pouring water in. My husband loves this tool for baseball and I love it even more after figuring out how to easily keep the bag full and tight like a hard balloon.

A good solid water weight bag
I have quite a few aqua bags/tidal tanks/water weights now, they all function pretty similarly and you either have to choose cost before quality to a risky degree, or encounter a random defect, to get one that will fall apart on you. This brand is no exception, the neoprene handles are thick and have multiple layers of strong stitching, they will last for quite a long time in combination with the plastic weld and patch anchor points. The clear plastic is thick and built to last, the valve is a standard in inflatables, and shows no sign of leakage in even the most strenuous use I have put it through. As others have said, I will reiterate: filling water bags is a righteous pain, unless there is a clever tool built to both depress the spring loaded entry/exit valve and fill the bag with water simultaneously, I always have to hold down the valve with my thumb and let the hose spill water haphazardly onto it until the bag is as full as I like it to be. You can use the included air pump to purge the air out when done, but when filling with water, the air is expelled, so it is only useful if it isn't fully filled. These bags, once filled, are simple but challenging weights. In many ways, as much as I love sandbags, aqua weights are better for versatile functional strength training. I either use it fully filled as a traditional sand bag but with an emphasis on back and forth, rocking, or rotational movements/lifts, or fill it most of the way then twist, shake, carry etc the bag, challenging pretty much every muscle group.Water weights are a great asset in a home gym, but in terms of value, this one could be priced lower. Since it is difficult to encounter a bad water weight, usually if a product is listed with a higher weight range at a lower price from a decently reviewed seller, it is safe and smart to go for it over a higher priced lower max weight one. This product falls into the latter, it is fine to have a lower max weight range, but 40USD is too high, lower the price to reflect the different sizing.

Economical way to work out at home without buying heavy steel gym equipment.
These are actually pretty cool and handy. You will them up with about 5 gallons of water or what weight of fluid you want to lift. They are easy to fill up and un fill. They fold or pack up out of the way. The plastic is pretty thick and does not leak water on you. This is a cheap way to get back into working out or for physical therapy. I use it to do squats and lifts over my head. I do not have the time to go to the gym and do not have room for standard steel weights and such. Good for people that are just starting their fitness journey.
