Is it safe for color treated hair?

This is a very good product. My daughter uses it also and she highlights her hair and has no problem what so ever. You don't need to use much for your hair. I use it because my hair is very curly and it works wonders. Hope this helps!

Does this product leave your hair hard? Would I be able to blow dry/flat iron my hair after applying it to my hair?

It doesn't leave my hair stiff & hard. And I use a curling iron after applying it. It doesn't thicken my hair as much as I want but does a better job that other products.

Anyone found a good replacement since this is no longer made?

No. I've tried other products in this line. None have measured up to this product, none smell as good or leave no sticky residue. I did find Infusium leave in hair conditioner that I used years ago, here on Amazon. It can be used after shampooing and between shampoos. Has a nice smell. Knots just comb right through. I continue to use facial and other Garnier hair products that I like. This was my favorite product by far.
