Are they actually vegetarian?

Hello, many thanks for your question. This product contains gelatin so therefore is not suitable for vegetarians. I have looked at the provided information below and can see that this product does state the it is suitable for vegetarians. I apologise for this false information and I am currently working with Amazon to get this removed ASAP.

What is approximate size of each piece ?
