The price of this bag is 47.69 why then did I pay 56.68.

I’ve found the prices change for the Kipling bags quite regularly. I bought mine when it was around £49 in a sale sale. The next week it was £50++. Worth checking regularly if you’re set on a Kipling to get the best deal.

Does it have a hip belt? In the photo none is shown. That would be a serious drawback.

This is not a hiking backpack so no hip belt. It’s more of a school, city trips, hand language backpack. I really like it even though it has no bottle holder which is the only drawback in my view.

Does it come with the monkey key chain

Yes, it comes with a hairy monkey you can use as a keyring.
