I was looking for a thicker mat to put under our plates....I just love these...once we put the food on them I don't have to worry about the table getting messed up from heat....when hot dishes are place on the mat it doesn't make my table hot....they are easy to roll up to clean table and very easy to clean....just wipe down and they look just as great as when I got them. I know these are going to be lasting as they are very well made and make the table look great.
