I'm giving this 5 stars for now. Packaging seems OK. I like how it's 2 packs of 12 wrapped in plastic, then inside a box. If I determine that these are warped after opening, I'll come back here and update this review. I will be using this on a 20w laser engraver machine.

Advertised in multiple locations in the listing as 16x16 inches, but the fine print states 15.75x15.75 inches.

I ordered the 12 pack of WSICSE 12-inch by 12-inch 3mm Basswood plywood sheets for use with my 20W laser machine. I create a variety of craft projects using plywood sheets and these worked very well for me. I have used two of the sheets out of this pack so far in creating a stacked round Halloween door sign that I will be painting and then gluing the two panels together. The sheets all have a very good finish of them and are all flat and able to be used with my laser or in other craft projects.

These Basswood sheets are 1/8 inch thick, 12 x 20 inch sheets of basswood plywood that are perfect for laser cutting or cutting with a scroll or fret saw, wood burning (pyrography), or using for acrylic painting, and model making, or for use in so many crafting projects! I enjoy making doll house furniture or Holiday and garden decorations and plant markers out of these sheets.The wood's edges are straight and true, and the surface is smooth, making it easy to cut cleanly and accurately. I've been using these sheets as material to create detailed models, and even small photo album and recipe book covers!When using balsa or basswood sheets on my Cricut (with a deep-cut blade), I look for flat wood with a smooth surface and no knots. These sheets sit perfectly flat and will remain adhered to the cutting mat of my cricut explore.I went through my wood and didn't find any knots that went all the way through the core, which is great for getting clean cuts and avoiding imperfections in the final product.The Basswood sheets can also be used as a wood panel for painting with acrylic paints, and I've found that the smooth surface holds paint well and creates beautiful, vibrant colors. I cut one of the sheets in half, then painted it with gesso and it makes a very nice wood panel surface for acrylic painting!Additionally, the sheets can be used with a pyrography pen to create intricate and detailed artwork..I would highly recommend these Basswood sheets to anyone looking for high-quality crafting materials for so many uses! With 12 sheets, I think it's a very good value and will keep me stocked with crafting material for some time!

These sheets are all very flat and have very little warping in them so far. My diode laser easily cuts through them and engraves without any trouble. Both sides are sanded well and the wood accepts colored stains perfectly fine.These would have received a 5 star rating from me but I had to subtract a star because all of the sheets are listed as 3mm thick but in reality all of the sheets measure 2.77mm thick. Normally this measurement would not be that bad but when working with files that require a true 3mm thickness it makes a lot more work for me to redesign all of my files.Overall it's a good product if you don't mind the thickness being a bit off.

These basswood sheets are exactly what I needed for my laser cutting projects! The 1/8 inch thickness is perfect, and the 12x12 size gives me plenty of material to work with.
