I ordered these boots for no specific purpose. I like the style and I like that they can be worn with a lot of different clothes. I thought that the boots looked good in the picture, which is one of the reasons that I ordered them, but they look much better in person. The way that the leather and canvas blend is pretty unique, and it makes the boots look very similar to ones worn by our great military. These are good quality boots, they are made well and, in my opinion, should last a long time. The stitching is very uniform and tight. There are 2 and 3 rows of stitches on several areas, which helps to make the boots more durable in my opinion. The boots are fairly easy to put on and take off. Since the boots have laces and a zipper, they can be worn by people with narrow feet or wide feet. I have narrow feet and I tie the laces pretty tight. That keeps my feet from slipping inside the shoes, and they are comfortable to me that way. At the top of the shoes there are 3 closed loops that the laces go through. I like that feature because there is no way the laces can loosen and come off the boots. The soles of the boots have great tread and the traction on many different surfaces is superb. The insoles are the weakest link. They are just semi thin general purpose insoles with a small bit of arch support. The insoles are removable, so you can easily fix the issue with them. I did remove the insoles from my boots and put some decent ones in. It made the boots very comfortable, and my feet are happy with the better arch supports. These boots can be worn while doing many different things, inside and outside. The quality of them is the reason that they can be so versatile, in my opinion. Last thing, the boots run about 1/2 size big. I normally wear a 10.5. I ordered a size 10 and they fit exactly how I want them to.

I have narrower feet and anything above an average width is a bit big on me. These have the above average width. If you have a wider foot these are prefect. The leather is good quality and actual leather so it should not crack and separate. It took me a while to get used to the zipper but I find I like it a lot now. I have to use thick socks but its a small price to pay to wear these. The support is good and I have put on hundreds of miles on them in the months I have had them. I have had no issues with traction on dirt rock, water, tile etc.

I wear a lot of boots for my job. I typically only get a few months before they split at the soles or start to come apart. Even really high dollar name brand pairs only last a little while longer than that. These are very well made. Not a lot of boots have the option of a side zipper. If you need to walk through water, this might become an issue but for rain and occasional puddles they keep your feet dry. The side zipper allows you to lace up the boots and get the fit the way you like while allowing you quick on/off. The ones I got had no loose stitching or quality issues. The insole has some arch support and combined with the rubber sole gives a good amount of cushion if you're on your feet all day. I've worn these for multiple 15 hour days in a row with no issues at all. They material is soft and smooth inside so they feel good on. The bottom of the sole being rubber really grips things well even on damp/wet terrain. They aren't overly heavy either. Just a good, all day comfortable boot that should last.

There are times I need footwear that is geared for more rugged activity, and these boots certainly fit the bill. Very well constructed and with a pseudo-military look and fit they will get you through climbing or rocky terrain with relative ease.The soles are deep and provide a good grip yet still will sluice water to the side much like a well-crafted tire would. They don't feel cheap or thin. The toe and heel are both rounded with a good thick suede protecting a more breathable padded fabric outer shell.The laces run all the way to the top, and help anchor the boots properly for comfort and activity. The trim around the top of the boot is soft enough that it won't cause any chafing.My favorite feature is the side zipper. I'm not a huge fan of having to spend a lot of time re-lacing my boots, or worse, trying to peel them off, soi being able to get the fit just right and then simply zip or unzip them to put them on or off is an added benefit. and the zippers are on the inside of the legs, which you would think is only logical, but I have other boots where the zipper is on the outside and those are a royal pain.I love the light tan color and the fit and feel. I will have to put in some insoles to help take up some extra room in the foot-area, but these are good boots and I expect they will be in use for some years.

The fabric is nice and I like the overall design. The bottom seems solid and they feel like they will make for good work boots. I know some people might be a little less picky when buying work boots but I noticed the foam on these is exposed and that makes me feel they aren't as well built and durable as I need. I definitely don't want boots to start coming apart even before I start wearing them. I almost game them 4 stars because they are nice looking but that stitching is an issue.

These boots arrived in a broken box but the boots were still in a good condition. I loved the build quality but they didn't feel very comfortable to me. Perhaps they need time to be "broken in" but I will update this review after a few months of wear.I like the military style, good quality materials (leather and canvas) and ability to easily get these on and off using the convenient side zippers. Overall I would recommend these good quality boots.

Ist identisch mit den Nortiv 8, allerdings ist dieser hier breiter. Leider gibt es nur die wide Version. Besonders lobenswert ist die Tasche hinter dem Reißverschluss. Die verhindert das Eindringen von Wasser durch den Reißverschluss

Botas militares sencillas, elegantes y fáciles de usar por la cremallera. Parecen robustas y no se calientan los pies en exceso cosa que indica que transpiran. Pedí un 44 y la talla se corresponde con un 44 real. Lo que no me gusta es que el cierre en la parte superior de cada bota me produce rojeces en la piel de los tobillos con el roce, incluso protegida con el calcetín.
