Works as it should so far
The mice decided to make a home out of our camper dinette cushions last winter. This year, Iโve decided to vacuum seal the cushions away in hopes that the mice wonโt get to them. The bag was easy to use and easy to vacuum seal off. I plan on just storing flat on the bed over winter, so I wonโt be rolling the bag or using the straps.

Terrific Storage for Soft Items Beyond Mattress, Strong, Works Well, Keep Items Clean & Odor Free
I requested this item for something entirely different than storing a mattress. Yarn. I was the beneficiary of an insane amount of yarn. It was stuffed into 27 gallon totes. I was able to get 3 of those totes in a single layer. This massive vacuum bag can easily take a double or triple layer, so like 6-9 huge totes of yarn, easily.I can see all of the yarn. I could not see the yarn in the totes so when I wanted to pull for a project I had the un-fun task of moving and digging through the totes to find what I wanted. Now when I want to do a project I can unroll and find the yarn before I open the bag.Sealing the bag is a breeze. The double zipper holds very well, though I did have to press and close side-to-side a few times to completely seal, but it certainly does seal well. This bag is strong. I walked on this bag barefoot with zero problem. I had given the bottom a bit of a roll to push some air out, and then put the exhaust of the inflator onto the vacuum hole and gently walked the edges, working toward the center, to help compact things. I don't think this was necessary but I really wanted the yarn to stay in place for an even roll. And it did stay in place. I was able to tightly roll all that yarn into a 16" X 50" roll that is stored vertically, that's about half of the area that those three tubs required. The straps and mechanisms are good and strong and will keep this roll stored tightly. The vacuum hole has a 'stopper' so when you remove the vacuum pump air doesn't go rushing back in. Plus, there's a tight little screw top with a gasket. It's a strong, sturdy, well designed solution that will absolutely keep a mattress (my yarn horde!) safe from dust, dirt, creepy crawlies and odors for long term storage.

No directions for the straps
The media could not be loaded. Like: It was big enough for a full foam mattress.Dislike: did not deflate enough. When it finally did after I folded the mattress into 3rds, I hope it will hold. One of the straps broke, so I can't adjust it. Hopefully the three I have on it will hold.Zipper, didn't realize I would have to put them on to use I thought they would already be attached.

Mine leaks
I am soooooo angry. I had to wait 2 extra days to get my item for whatever reason. Then I had a certain amount of time to get out of my house, so I was on a time limit. My bag leaks, there's no time for my to mail back and get a new one ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

Good alternative to name-brand options; Great for storing an occasional-use mattress
Not quite on the same level as name-brand options, but much better than off-brand ones. Overall, I give this a 4.5/5. I was initially going to give it a 4/5 for a number of small misses. In the end, I've got to bump it to a 5/5 for how well it works, stays sealed and holds its shape.WHAT I LIKE. This turned out to be bigger than I expected. Of course, I didn't use an actual mattress, just 3-4" of toppers, but look at Pic 1 to see how much room there is. It should have no problems fitting a mattress and topper. It's fairly straightforward and easy to use, especially if you're just flattening a mattress. The seal holds pretty well. The bag will readjust, move and expand slightly as it finds its equilibrium, but it's been over 2 weeks, and it's held it's size and shape very well (hence the 5/5). The straps are a HUGE help. This would be very difficult to carry and store without them. Plus it helps keep the bag compact.WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE. While it's *mostly* easy to use, especially if keeping the mattress flat, it is quite a challenge to roll up. Definitely a two-person job. You need someone to roll while the other holds the vacuum securely to the hole. It was quite difficult to do for one person. Speaking of the vacuum hole, it was smaller than expected and didn't hold a seal against the vacuum hose well. The hose kept sliding off. Name-brand vacuum bags did a much better job of fitting with a hose. I also would have liked the straps to be designed a little better. The cross-straps that form a handle are helpful, but they're long and you have to loop them around and through the straps to make them usable.

Ultra thin cheap buckles
The straps look heavy duty in the photos but are very thin. Two different types of cracks. I'm disappointed but not going to return as I'd rather finish wrapping the mattresses with tape and keep going. Bag is overall thick with nice slide closure
