I love this tent tent! (1p and 2p)
(Update 2019-09-29, for the 1p tent. 2p review is below the line...)Though I fully appreciated the 2p tent, as noted below, I found myself rolling around in it with too much space for one person. I had to wait almost a year for the 1p to become available, but oh am I glad I have it now! This tent is nearly PERFECT. It’s just exactly the right size, beautifully made, and I get happy every time I look at it. I had bought a different 1p tent, but it was just a tad short and narrow. This tent gives me just enough room to each side, and is long enough that I can fit my 65L backpack above my head and still have room to sleep. It’s beautifully appointed. The entry zipper works great and never jams, the rainfly is adequately ventilated if set up properly. It sets up in no time at all. The pockets at the corners are much appreciated. And it was very thoughtful to put a small zippered opening on the non entry side to get at those things like your boots you might want to stash under the rainfly on the non-entry side. Love, love, love it!If there just one thing I could ask for, it would be a zipper on the non-entry side of the rainfly so that it can be opened and rolled up like the entry side, and maybe a full entry on both sides. But even as-is it’s as perfect as I ever could expect.P.S. Check out the view I woke up to after a nice bug-free nap with the rain fly removed at the end of the trail my first day. :)======= 2p review from earlier ==========I love this tent. I liked it from the first time I set it up but waited until I got it into the field to write this. First, it’s super easy to set up even with one person. Just lay out the footprint and the tent, extend the poles and put the ends into the eyelets at the corners of the footprint and tent. You don’t have to string the poles through anything because the tent easily clips to the poles! Just put the second end of the pole into the opposite corner eyelet, then fasten a clip or two and the tent starts to take shape. Work your way around, fastening the remainder of the clips and viola! Insta-tent. The rain-fly goes over the top and simply ties onto the poles from underneath. Seriously, this tent can be set up in under 5 minutes easily. The floor to ceiling mesh is great IMO. Sure, without the rain fly there’s no privacy, but you can lay in the tent and feel almost as if you’re outside but without the bugs. I especially appreciated this on my first trip as it was hot, there were no neighbors, and the bugs were atrocious. There was no chance of rain, so slept under the moon and awoke looking up at the trees swaying in the breeze above me. The interior of the tent is roomy. I’m just shy of 6’ and there was plenty of room at the head and foot. It would have been spacious even for two. The mesh pockets are super handy. The zippers work great and don’t get constantly stuck in covering flaps like every other tent I’ve seen. If you do have the rain fly on it’s really easy to unhook the flaps from the steaks and easily roll them up and hold them with the thoughtful tie-outs.The only caution is it all seems a bit delicate. That all mesh construction just feels like it could fail under abuse. But, with taking my time and taking caution to carefully stake things down I believe it’s going to last a long time. I did have a problem with one of the tie-outs on the rain fly tearing. Be sure to put the stakes in before attaching the tie-out so as to not over-stress the seam. Hyke and Byke customer service provided a warranty replacement within a few days. I think the tear was just a fluke as everything else is ship-shape. And the excellent customer service more than made up for this little issue. All that to say ... treat it as a light-weight piece of backpacking gear and not a military pup-tent and everything will be fine.(BTW, the weigh-out difference for this tent + sleeping pad vs. that of a hammock, straps, tarp, bug-net, underquilt, etc. is negligible. I know, I have weighed them both.)

Good tent for price
Total weight as sold is 4.45lbs. I bought this for backpacking trip and was overall happy with product. Be sure to set up the entire tent before heading out because the instructions are terrible. You’ll want to tie on guide ropes to rain fly and see how included footprint attaches to the rain fly (it buckles at each corner). Not big enough for 2 people, but it is big enough to sit up in, 1 person and all your gear.Positives: good bug netting, easy side entry/exit, opposite side zipper to store stuff under small vestibule, quality tent stakes(11), ties for tent poles on underside of rain fly to reinforce attachment for high winds, rainproof, small ceiling hammock for easy accessible items, reinforced tent floor

Great quality tent for motocamping. Wish it had better venting.
Great tent for the money. It’s light and easy to assemble. Build quality is fantastic. I love that it comes with good quality steaks and ground sheet and that it lets you put up the rain fly before the tent body. That’s super helpful if you need to set it up in the rain.I use it for solo motorcycle camping and it is perfect. The 2P tent has enough room for one person and still plenty of room for important gear inside the tent and boots and other stuff fit under the vestibules. Wouldn’t recommend it for 2 people. If you are also over 6ft tall, may be getting close to the edge on length. I’m 5’9” and have plenty of room.Only negative: I couldn’t give it a 5 star because it doesn’t have any vents. I didn’t experience condensation so far but it has been pretty warm on all trips. Would like to see 2 pop-out vents on the rain fly like a lot of other tents.

Great Producct
My previous tents were a 2-person and a 3-person but almost 20 years old and needing to be retired. I found this tent and after reading the specifications, decided it fit my need and purchased it. On making the decision, several points persuaded me to purchase this Hyke & Byke 2-person Yosemite tent.I needed a new ground cloth and this tent came with one, this saved $20 as I needed a new one. The ground cover has corner strap that fit into the stays so it's sure to "stay" put. The tent has corner pockets sown in each corner of the tent and also has an over-head mesh that is removable for easy to get to items. Really a nice feature to keep up with all the small items one takes on a multi-day trip.Twin vestibules is another handy feature for storage of packs, boots, bags and any other items needing to be kept out of the weather. With storage outside of the main tent, this 2-person tent actually has room for two and all their gear!Setup is a breeze. Aluminum stays are good quality and the tent uses "J" hooks rather than sown pockets that can be attached to the stays one handed. All screen tent with solid floor with stays and ground cloth can be picked up with one finger....very light weight. The rain fly is well made with corner reinforcements and stitched reinforcement at attachment points. It anchors well and clears the internal screen by more than an inch to keep the tent dry. Stakes come with cordage to assist with removal as well as the zippers....this is really appreciated in cold weather handling. The stays, stakes, and ground cloth all have their separate bag for easy storage in one sack. This tent is packed with features found on more expensive tents. I received a confirmation email along with two PDF files on care and maintenance and setup instructions. Also received follow-up email from their customer service asking if I had any questions or problems. Much appreciated that customer service is part of their product and they work at making customers satisfied. I would recommend Hyke & Byke to anyone looking for a 2 or 3 person 3-season tent.

Great value, looks and feels really good quality, excited to use it.
Really impressed with this. Straight when it arrived the packaging was good, and felt like a professional product.Everything was clearly provided and it was super easy to assemble.Really lightweight and easy to pack down again as well which is always a great bonus, excited to use it on lots of great adventures soon, so far it's only had a night in the garden but it served us well and is a great tent.

Just perfect for me. The best tent I ever buy.
The tent is perfect, height, width (larger than many), zippers, pegs (light with a little rope to makes it a joke to remove, and the tool to push in the ground works great too)... Everything is perfect. At that price, its a steal!!!! The only potential downside, is for very tall persons. I'm 5,6 and with a very big winter sleeping bag, I wasn't touching the tent but was pretty close.
