I purchased a set of 4 chairs. The first issue is just comfort. The chairs were not comfortable to sit on. We had many people come and try them out and each person said they were uncomfortable. In addition, the chairs have many issues. Each chair is completely separate with no way to attach them to their neighbor like a typical sectional couch. So when you sit down and get up the chairs slide a little bit. This means that your couch always looks crooked. A second issue with the couch was the tension to open or close the recliner. They didn't work well. When I would pull the lever to open the chair it didn't release the bottom. Sometimes I would have to bend over to manually pull the lower portion out. Then when I would try to close the chair they are very difficult to close. This would cause the chair to slide all over on the floor. I could close it by standing up and then pushing it to shut with my foot. This only kind of works but we want these chairs to be used by both adult guests and teenagers. The lever would be broken very quickly. The chairs feel like they will fall apart at any time. I weigh about 200 pounds. When I would push down on the armrest I would hear the wood in the chair crack. Now I am not the skinniest person out there but I don't think I weigh enough to break a new chair. As if this isn't enough issues the armrests do not feel like they are secure. So when you turn to lay on it sideways or to adjust your position the armrest just pushes away from the seat. I got up off the chair and grabbed a hold of the armrest to test it and it wiggles all over the place. I asked for a refund and stated these issues. They told me that these are not manufactured defects. I wanted to know how that is possible considering nothing on the chair works properly. To refund it I had to pay the return shipping. They absolutely refused to take responsibility for a poor quality couch. Now in case, anyone thinks I am expecting too much I did purchase a new set of couches from another place. The new couches cost less than the ones I returned and were much better. The new couches are electric recline and have a head tilt. They are much more comfortable and sturdy. Octane should not be selling these couches. They should also take responsibility for poorly manufactured products.

The seat cushion is very comfortable. For the price this is a very good looking & comfortable seating. The only issue is, this recliner is light and slides on my wood flooring when pushing back the recliner foot rest. Overall it’s good value.

for a budget conscious customer these are great. comfortable enough for a movie. Only downside is I didn't realize they don't connect, so seats move a bit when getting up and reclining sometimes.

Very nice. Still not clear if it is all leather or part leather and part "pleather" and Amazon's product description and the one on the boxes said different things. However, nice product for the price.

Leather work around accessory jacks flawed. Of the 4 total one the leather is pulled away and another is puckered up. Also it is hard to close foot rest without tipping the chair
