Good price - Bad product
These 5 flash drives are supposed to hold 2GBs. I Tried two and they only hold about 13 megabytes before they stop adding more data. The warning says to dump some of the 13 megs. to add more data to drive, although drive is almost empty. The info on the drive shows only 13 megs of the 2 GBs used.I am using a IMAC - not windows. Maybe they are not compatible with IMACs, or I got some bad flash drives.UPDATE: Today, at one point while I was testing the rest of my drives, Imac notified me I had options to optomize these drives. This was surprise to me because most products I buy work on IMAC and are plug and play. These 5 flash drives are not. I had to erase, rename and reformat all 5 drives. That went quickly, but these 2.0 flash drives are very slow to load. Now that they should all work with IMAC, I may use them, but only for very small amounts of data. I've been using IMAC for over 8 years, and have purchased a number of flash drives, but these 5 are the only flash drives that did not work out of the box on my IMAC.

Nice form factor, capacity is there, USB 1.0 (low speed) - or worse transfer rates.
I used these on a Karaoke machine that is limited to reading 2k files at a time.Capacity is there, but I noticed significant "pauses" in writing to these drives - they seem to be a little slower than normal. TCL TV won't accept one for TV pause features due to speed. But for the price, seems ok.Note, as these get full, even using a USB 3.0 (backwards compatible to USB 2) USB port, transfer rates drop to sub .5Mb/s when approaching 75% capacity or more.USB 1.0/Low-Speed: 1.5 Megabits per second (Mbps) - These *might* be this spec. They are advertised as USB 2.0 - 480 Mbps should be their high speed rate.... Not even close!

Tried to download files, no success
Purchased 5 pack of 65 gig. Tried to download 50 gigs of small images and video, got about half of the files downloaded which took most of the day. Got a warning that a file could not be downloaded and the flash drive became unrecognizable to my Mac. Dissapeared from my imac finder. Tried another Flash Drive. When 1/2 the files were downloaded another error stating one of the files could not be downloaded and all the previously transfered fiels dissapeared. No luck trying a new port, no luck with a restart.

Ridiculously slow speeds....
This is nowhere near the listed specs. After a few hundred kilobytes, it drops to near zero, then repeats...meaning there is little to no buffers on the chip. Avoid at all costs. I would rate capacity, but after half an hour trying to write 22 gigs to the drive and barely hitting 500 MB, I gave up. I did test all 5, so it is a chip issue, not a single drive issue. Absolute garbage.

Worthless
Ordered this 10 pack of 8GB USB Flash Drives. Opened the box upon receipt and pulled one out to use. Found it was initially formatted as FAT32 instead of NTFS, no problem, tried to reformat as NTFS to allow for larger file storage. When trying to reformat, the drive started throwing errors in Windows. Tried a second one from the box with the same results. Took 15 minutes of chat with Amazon to get them to agree the flash drives were defective and allow the return. Overall, very disappointed in this purchase but I guess that's what I get for trying the 'cheap ones'. Back to name brand flash drive for me as I've never had this issue with SanDisk or other name brands.

You get what you pay for
These items are a decent value for the money. They are inexpensive and easily accessible , but it comes with its caveats. The transfer speeds are extremely slow, so make sure you have a lot of time on your hands to transfer data. Even worse, however, is that it fails to transfer large files. I tried to upload a 7gb video at least 10 times and it failed with an error code. I ultimately had to compress the video to get the full length in. Again, they are good for the job of storing a few things, but just take a long time to do so.

Look nice, but first one died on it's first use.
I like the colors and the price, however my first task loading one of these up with data, and it failed. Now it is no longer even recognized as a disk with media by the OS. Going in to the Disk Management, I see it as "Disk 2 Removable, no media." Will play with the rest of em, but not exactly a great first experience. At the price I can afford to lose one, but if they fail in the field where I need them, that would be bad. Was planning to use to distribute offline resources for Emergency Communications Operators when the internet is down. Maybe just bad luck but I am wary. You should be too.

Decent thumb drives at a good price.
Tested all 10 drives (5 colors), 8 consistently tested at speeds of 9 - 12 Mbs (USB 2). Ironically, of the 2 black drives, one consistently tested higher (11 - 18 Mbs) & the other black drive considerably lower (0 kbs - 17 kbs - 100 kbs - 4 Mbs). So, not sure what's going on there, but, all in all, good enough for my purposes for them. I haven't had them long enough to determine durability and with the 2 black drives being significantly different in speed, I'm not sure about quality control. (I probably would rate 5 stars if the 2 black drives had been more in line with the rest.)
