Do your knives have branding on both sides? The photo shows that when the knife is facing left it should have branding on it, but mine is blank.

Global knives have their logo etc on one side only - yes, generally on the left hand side of the blade when holding the handle and pointing the blade away from yourself including the bread knife! The only knife that I've have where the Global details appear on the right is a short bladed serrated edge one!
