Econoco CT24 Single-Tier Paper Cutter, 24

The construction is of semi thick steel and sturdy and can hold a huge round roll of any paper as long as it's 24" or shorter. The wooden dowel is a tad short ,but it holds regular rolls just fine. The heavier the roll , the more it will bend the dowel and very possibly fall out. Paper and all. My main issue with this product is that it will not cut anything thicker than 10lb weight kraft paper. That's pretty thin. The so called blade in more blunt and rounded than the frame. it's only going to rip whatever product you use on it. I could spend some time grinding it down to sharp, but at this price I shouldn't have to. Especially when there's nothing much to it and that is half of it's primary function. Would definitely recommend that anyone else looking to purchase a paper holder/ cutter spend the five extra dollars for the next one up the list. This one will just leave you with a lot of regrets and a bad taste in your mouth. Hope this truly helps the next person that realizes money does not grow on trees and cheap rip-off companies such as this one should be held accountable for the sneaky ways they trick people out of their hard earned money.

Not very happy with this product. A 24-inch paper roll is difficult to keep in the slots, and the machine is too flimsy to cut the paper with ease. I am searching for small metal pieces to put inside the slots to extend the holding capacity.

Perfect and exactly what I needed to make tearing the paper easier

The dowel needs to be about 1/16 to a quarter of an inch longer. Once I got it in place, it immediately fell out. I tried it a second time and same thing happened. Yes, I can go purchase another dowl for it and cut it myself, but I shouldn't have to.

It is sturdy and exactly what i needed.
