What size and the bigger boxes inside?

All boxes are 5cmD...ie back to front. The 4 largest boxes are...2 sized @ 6cmW x11cmH and 1 @ 9cmW x 11cmH and 1 @ 16.5cmW x 5cmH. All other boxes are smaller. Hope this helps

What kind of wood is this made from please?

Not 100% but think it’s bolsa or similar. Not heavy.

Could I fit socks in the smallest drawers?

I fitted socks and woollen gloves in some of the drawers -it was a case of buying lots of small items and then seeing what fitted in where - added to the fun. I bought a mini lego kit and took it out of the box so it would fit. Christmas bauble decorations worked well, stationary items, 40cl minature bottles, small soaps and travel size toiletries were all good too!
