2.2" Is designed for a Cut Away Collar
The product is sturdy, but 2.2" can be used for a cut away collar. A traditional collar needs 2.5" to 2.75"

Not smooth edges.
They are poorly stamped. The edges are not smooth. I wouldn't trust these in my shirts. I threw them in recycling.
