Great budget phone
I love this phone.I needed a 2nd device with a better battery for playing mobile games and some other tasks. I was originally looking into tablets but I couldn't find anything that I like in my budget. My partner has the A15 version and I kind of liked it so I decided that I will get one of them instead. Strangely enough the A15 was more expensive than the newer version A16 so I went for it. I wasn't really happy in the beginning cause I wanted a tablet and when I ordered it, it said that it'll come in 3 days despite having Prime and it was my first time using Amazon. I ordered it during Prime day and the fun part was the next day (last day) was 14£ off. Anyways, it arrived day earlier than it said and all in all it was great. Now about the phone. Overall it's a great one depending what you want and expect from it. For what I personally wanted it - it's perfect. The phone comes only with charging cable (USB C to USB C). Sadly there is no adaptor in the box, so you need to have one already. Also it does not support wireless charging. You can buy an extension for that but I am not sure how it works. However, the phone came pre charged (50%) and it took an hour to fully charge with the the provided cable and a 3rd party adaptor. The battery lasts for a long time - I play on it all day and it basically didn't dropped under 40% and when I leave it on over night it drops only 1% so it should last at least 2 days. The phone itself is big (too big if you ask me for every day use) and is a bit heavy but is stable. It looks pretty well though but the back and the front catches very easily fingerprints so you need to have a case and screen protector for it or be prepared to clean it constantly (which I do). I didn't included pictures but it looks exactly like the picture in the listing. It does not have an earphone jack so you can only use it with wireless\Bluetooth headphones or buds. I didn't tested the sound quality of it but the A15 is great (for a budget phone) so I am pretty sure it's good. The screen is very good and clear. The colours are bit blue at the beginning but you can adjust how warm and vivid you want them to be in the options. Also the bezels are not too big but they are noticeable especially around the selfie camera but you can get used to it.Speaking of cameras it comes with 3 in the back and 1 on the front. Didn't tested them that much but they are good for this type of phone. It was very easy to setup and start using it. A lot of reviews are mentioning that the phone is slow, but to be fair I didn't notice that at all. For me it works pretty fast. However, I am coming from a Samsung Galaxy S8 (which I still love and use) and I am starting to enjoy the A16 quite a lot. I bet so that if you come from the latest models you can think differently about it but for its price it's a gem. It also has a fingerprint scanner and you can unlock your phone like that which I found as a nifty upgrade from my previous one. How I mentioned, I play all day on it and use other apps and till now it's been doing more than fine - we'll see how long will be that though. So if you need a pretty good phone (depending on your needs) for a good price don't hesitate. I don't think you'll find better from an established company than it.

Pretty good budget phone.
so I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy A16 for a little while now, and honestly, it’s pretty solid for what it is. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly phone that just works, this one’s a good option. The screen is actually pretty nice — it’s bright and big enough for scrolling, watching videos, and all that. It’s not like flagship-level sharp, but for the price? Totally fine. It’s smooth enough for day-to-day stuff, though if you’re into heavy gaming or super fast multitasking, you might notice it lags a little sometimes. But for social media, YouTube, and messaging, it holds up really well.Battery life is one of the best things about it — seriously, I can get through a whole day, sometimes more, without even thinking about charging. That’s a big win. The cameras are pretty basic but good enough for casual pics and selfies. Don’t expect super high-end shots, but they get the job done if you’re not super picky.Build-wise, it feels decent in the hand — nothing fancy, but it doesn’t feel cheap either. Samsung’s One UI is super easy to use too, very clean and straightforward.Overall, I’d say if you just need a reliable phone without spending a fortune, the Galaxy A16 is a safe bet. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable.

Great quality phone for the cost.
Good simple Samsung mobile, no 3.5mm headphones socket but that's my only moan at this price. Great build quality and good run time.If you can't justify 10x the price for a premium model this is perfect compromise.

Easy to use phone with long battery life.
Nice phone although, as is the norm now, the screen is rather large. Easy to use and as it's a back-up phone the battery life is good. Standard Samsung UI on top of Android 15 but this doesn't appear to detract from ease of usability. Only gripe I have is that the phone was bought under one of Amazons deals only to see the phone £10 cheaper after the 'amazing' deals had finished - obviously let the buyer beware and check before you purchase.

Fork out more money for a plug which should have come with the phone in the first place
Item good. However doesn't come with a plug so can't charge it.Stupid cost cutting measures meant to just irritate it seems.
