This battery-operated light allows those who are inspecting cars for blemishes in the finish or small dents to more readily see imperfections and dents. The light has three light levels (photos show the brightest setting) as well as a suction cup base that can be adjusted.A word of caution: the suction-cup base ships with a peel-off cover. Under that cover is a "sticky" substance that should be wiped off with denatured alcohol before use. I didn't do that and had a bear of a time removing the base from the truck used in the photos.

This light board works great for Paintless Dent Removal. The light modes are bright enough to use outside during any light conditions. The size is big enough to get a good reading of the dent while still small enough to position it as needed. So far, I have found the battery to have a long life of at least an hour. The bonus is that the battery is a standard 18650 and they can be purchased at many local stores if the battery needs to be replaced.I did find that the suction cup was decent, but it is very sticky and left a residue after use. I wiped it down after the first use and the residue seems to be gone. The bendable mounting arm has some play in it that does allow it to move a little more than I would like while I'm using it, but not enough to not recommend this board. It is a good, basic light board that is perfect for the amateur PDR tech working on their own vehicle, but it is too lightweight/flimsy for anyone who does PDR regularly.

Having a rechargeable light was my goal. The mount threads in the light back were just plastic and secured with 2 very small/short screws. 1 would not even tighten when assembled correctly. Using longer screws I was able to secure the mount but only a matter of time before the tiny thread strip as I move the ball mount around. I can then just use a double cup mount which will be more flexible in positioning anyway and likely what should have been supplied in the first place.

Had recently dented my truck's tailgate and looked into paintless dent repair. I got a kit with the metal rods and glue puller to try to work it. This light board serves the purpose of brightly illuminating the surface area to see where the dents are located by showing wavy lines highlighting the imperfections. The bracket is sturdy enough to hold the light fixture in place. The suction cup on the end is more than strong enough to hold onto the vehicle body panel. The light works with a battery or cable provided. One thing on the suction cup end, make sure you clean out the sticky film that it comes with as the suction will stick to your car and will be tough to remove. Otherwise, this is a very useful product for PDR.

Light received was dead on arrival. Seemed to be a good quality but it didn’t work. I guess the quality control is poor. Recommend to the factory to keep the battery out of the production when manufacturing. So simple yes?

The battery on this light is garbage it stopped charging doesnt turn on anymore after 2 uses
