SonyEricsson MPS-100 Portable Speakers

I am really impressed with these little speakers. the sound is crisp and clear,even at full volume, they are very effective at being a radio antenna, easy to carry around. versatile and sturdy. At the reduced price, they are a real bargain.

I guess I shouldn't rate the speakers at all, because I haven't tried them `cause I can't! They fit only the old type of Sony Ericsson's connections and not my Xperia phones (I have the Sony Ericsson X8 and the newer Sony L). The speakers are really nice built, very compact and nice looking. Too bad I can't use them. It really bugs me, because they certainly looks nice!

What an excellent pair of portable speakers. I was a little dubious as to what the performance would be like being so small? Some of the smaller speaker can be a little tinny. But this was not the case with the MPS-100, even at full volume they are impressive.

These little speakers are quite loud and pack a punch, especially if you want to play music through your Mobile phone - for example in a park but most certainly not in a train or on the public highway.Well recommended.

They did not work with my laptop, but may be it is my fault and I made mistake buying it.

The speakers look very good - great design - and would be even better if they worked with a laptop easily which is the purpose for which I bought them.The description is not clear enough - it should be made very clear that it is imperative that you have a Sony Ericsson mobile phone to act as a conduit of power from laptop to speaker. Another mobile phone will not work and a 3.5 input jack does not provide power. I don't have a Sony Ericsson phone and it has proved impossible to find a suitable adaptor so they have proved to be completely useless. Therefore I cannot comment on the quality of sound but the design is really good. If you have a Sony Ericcson mobile I should think they are great but the necessity of having the right mobile phone should be made clearer.
