Small but has a strong beam. Purchased to detect cat urine. Handy size. Smaller than a pen. Rechargeable so no batteries to replace. Holds a charge many hours too. Not made of plastic so it will last if dropped. The beam is adjustable so wide to thin width. Came packaged well. Good value as well.

This is an excellent UV flashlight that is USB C chargeable and has the 365nm wavelength that works very well at highlighting stains, be it pet stains or otherwise "potty" spots that the normal human eye cannot see. The flashlight is rather small but it does work exceedingly well with the given wavelength of light.It is a rechargeable via USB-C but I don't see any means to opening this up and replacing the battery within, if so I would give it a full 5 stars.There is a "focus" beam by pullin out and pushing in the front lens, so your can widen or focus the light in on a more narrow spot... Overall this is a well made and great UV flashlight, but I can't seem to open and replace a battery if needed. I hope this will batterh last!

The Darkbeam UV Flashlight works as expected and I appreciate its small size. I checked some precious stones I had around the house and found that the UV does indeed work. I found it useful to check for urine spots around the house. It has a rechargeable battery with a USB-C port as well as a belt clip. All around I was very pleased with our use.

Very small, light, and compact, but not as powerful as I would like.

I decided to use this because I wanted to cure resin and also do a better job at cleaning and help me find problem areas on electrical boards such as blown capacitors or of the such .when I got this thing it was tiny. It had a nice aluminum build and it even had the rating of it engraved on the aluminum body. Now I was given this product for purposes of vine review but trust me when I say if this thing sucked I would rip it a new one but it doesn't it's fantastic.

I generally use larger 365nm UV flashlights with one or more18650 3.7v rechargeable batteries. I've tested this flashlight against some of those (and other) UV flashlights and the UVA intensity of the Darkbeam mini pegs the scale of my meter (as do most of the others). I'm not saying it throws out as much light as the others, but at close range it does put out a lot of light, and with the filter it does appear to be typical of other 365nm led sources. I don't know about how long it will run. USB charging is handy, but I'm not happy that the battery isn't replaceable; with my other lights if the battery goes dead I can pop in a spare; not so with this light. The If you need a small light, this seems to be a good one.
