This recorder is good choice to take to school or work for meetings where you want to be able to take good notes and can't always keep up with the lecturer. You can also use it as an MP3 player. 16G memory is big enough to keep hours of records, it is useful when used to record data and remember stuff. Stopped charging after 2 weeks
Worked well at first. Has a long lasting battery- at least 12 hrs if not more. But after only a couple of weeks it won’t charge. It takes a phono to USB charging cable which it comes with and is about 2-3” long. Whether it’s the cable or the recorder not working- I don’t know but so soon, I’m not inclined to buy another charger to find out.

All Around Bad News
Ordered the 8 gb version, because it was Amazon's Choice, and it arrived outside of it's box, plus it didn't work. (Came in a shipping package, with its own box inside, but device itself was loose in package, outside of its own box.) Gave them a second chance, with this version, despite the obvious absurdity of the original situation, and received a device that didn't work again. Not to mention that the power switch was in the "on" position. Both times, the device box didn't even match the item, either. The box was for some other device. All around, this is just a bad buy.Not sure how these folks achieved Amazon's Choice, but they're no good whatsoever.

I bought this recorder for my son. He loves it! He uses it to record his professors lectures so he can listen to them later. The audio is so clear. You can make out every word clearly. And it is so easy to use. Just turn it on and clip it onto your backpack and it will record everything so clearly its almost like you are hearing the actual person speak. This is perfect for any student. I recommend it 10/10

Confusing to use
Didn’t really like it it was confusing to use and I Didnt really like it. Nice for a keychain but to use it for lectures didn’t really worked for me
