Easy to useDisadvantages:1. Hard to store once opened.2. Can only be mixed with water.3. Feels a bit sticky on first use but feels smooth later.

Not for my skin, but nice product
I initially thought this was a neat product to make my own skincare or add to other products. It comes double packaged and with a scoop. I made it as described but when I tested it on my skin, my skin became very red. I haven't tried again, but I love the concept.

3 yr Shelf-Life!
I got the bright idea to DIY a version of a skin care line I use. The line has a serum that can be used by itself OR mixed with vitamin C powder (sold separately). I ordered vitamin E face oil and this vitamin C powder. All was well until I read the note on the back of the package: "L-Ascorbic Acid form of Vitamin C...will omly dissolve in water-based ingredients." Both DIY recipes on the package use water as the base. So, I'll have to find another way to use the powder.Regardless, I am happy with the order. The package is large, and likely will outlast my DIY skincare phase (it has a shelf life of 3 years). If nothing else, I will just use it as a replacement for my little jar of vitamin C I mentioned above, or learn how to make soap--one of the suggested uses.

Very easy to add to boost existing products
I have tried other products by iFEier before such as pearl powder and have been a happy customer so I didn't hesitate to try the vitamin C powder. I poured some in a glass bottle that I covered in aluminum foil so that light doesn't go through it and have been using a small amount and mixing it with hyaluronic acid and applying it to my face and it's sticky at first but it gets smooth after a little time. This gives me glass skin and brightens my skin. I think over time the dark spots will lighten. This is a lot of powder so there's really good value. I have read other reviews and love the idea of using it in a foot bath and I will be adding to my skincare to give it a boost. As long as you mix it with water based products, it should be good to go and if you want to be even more accurate, use a pH strip to check the pH and add baking soda if it's too acidic. I have read that it shouldn't be added to serums with niacinamide so that is something to watch out for.

Seems good quality so far
It’s a great option for homemade skincare, especially if you’re using it in something like a moisturizer or lotion. That’s because when you buy a bottle of pre-mixed vitamin C serum, it oxidizes and loses effectiveness pretty quickly. So, I’m glad that I can mix just a pinch of this powder into the base of my chosen skincare product. That way, I get the most out of the serum.A lot goes into this little package. This is also good value for what you get. It’s strong stuff, so a pinch is more than enough. Usually, I’ll add a drop or two of water to dissolve it first before mixing it into my moisturizer. The quality is good, and this vitamin C dissolves very well in water, which is essential if you’re mixing it into a cream or lotion. I’m not sure that I’m seeing the results I want yet, but I do think it’s too soon to tell, so I’ll keep using it and see what happens.
