It is not a true black, it is a charcoal, very dark but not black.It wears nice, and the material is good, it washes and dries well too. It is thick enough, and it isn]t super see through. I am keeping the two shirts but I can't use them for work because they are not a true black.

Super soft material, washes and dries well, fits perfectly, love the wicking type material, especially here in central Florida.
