what is the difference between the gel and the paste?

The paste is 100% honey. A wound care specialist recommended the paste for my son when he had MIRM. The gel applies smoother and only for exterior application whereas the paste can be ingested and tastes better.

Ive used Medihoney dressings before and am wondering if this when applied to a bandage will stick to the wound when removing it?

It doesn't stick if you understand it, and know how to use this. First I use it mixed with 10% walnut oil to create a soft but not running consistence. I use only cotton Gauze. The wound has to be dressed twice a day. Use chamomile 2 bags in 150 ml water to soften the gauze. Be patient and careful to avoid any bleeding removing the gauze. The cotton gauze absorb all secretions of the wound including necrotic cells. Using a Q tip soaked with walnut oil try to remove as much as you can, dead tissues. The healing process starts only after the wound is cleared from all necrotic cells. Honey & Walnut Oil is antiseptic anti bacterial and provides nutrition in the wound improving the healing process. The healer in Balkans told me: This treatment is based in natural components and not in man made things. This natural procedure is more than 1000 years Old and is passed from generation to generations to e few people.

There is no shelf life. It does not expire. Honey never expires.

is this good for MRSA boils?

Yes it is, was given this in the hospital for my wound care from mrsa
