A successful seeding experience
I bought three types of seeds (Ice Plan Table Mountain, Phlox Blue, and Sedum Acre), and used Jiffy Professional Greenhouse Starter Kit for seeding. I followed the instruction to soak up the starter kit, laid a few seeds on the top of each pellet, gently pressed the seeds to have good contact with soil (not to bury / cover the seed) and water it with the mist setting (using garden hose). In the next few days, I put the kit in the bright spot and water it at least twice a day (with mist set). I also put the dome on in the first two days to maintain extra moisture. To my surprise, the seeds started to germinate in day 3. By day 5, all pellets have multiple germination. I even found some seeds germinated outside pellets (with hardly any soil attached). In my experience, I would say that "water" is the key. I have been keeping the kit soaking wet in the first few days, and that seems really help the germination.

Very tiny seeds but they were all good
Seeds were very viable and looked like they all sprouted. I used a covered germination tray and that helped keep them moist through the day I sprayed each cell with water to keep the soil moist most days and I had great success my failures came from putting the tray outside with the dome off to early and the wind broke several of the sprouts which was my fault. Let them get sturdy or keep them inside :)

Disappointing yard work
I am trying to cover a large area and buying already established plants proved to be expensive and this seemed a better way to go. I was surprised at how tiny the seeds are (about the size of a pin head ) and they are very difficult to sow and spread evenly. To date I have not seen any growth and if I were to use these again I would propagate them in pots first to see if the results might be better.

No Results
I'm giving this review 2 stars because I'm allowing for the probability that I didn't follow the planting directions to the letter (otherwise I would have given it 1 or zero). I live in the San Diego area, so the planting region is excellent, and our neighborhood already has plenty of this type of ice plant growing in greenbelt and hillside areas. It is truly beautiful, especially in late winter and early spring when it blooms. I distributed the seeds over a couple of landscape areas in our yard that are watered by water sprinklers and drip irrigation. That was over two months ago, and there was absolutely no sign of germination. If I do it over, I will try using small planters to get the iceplant germinated and growing before transplanting it.

Difficult to grow.
It's hard to believe that there were 500 seeds in the pack. The directions on the pack were not as specific as description on Amazon. I planted them today. We'll see.

I was hesitant to buy due to some of the bad reviews.
I Put these seeds in an aluminum pan on top of a paper towel.. Sprayed the towel with water, covered the top with Saran wrap, and set them next to a window. They started sprouting in only a few days. The photo was taken after a week. I cut the towel in pieces and transplanted in individual pots with potting soil. I can't say if 100% germinated, but it was very close. I was hesitant to buy due to some of the bad reviews.... glad I did.

Poor success rate
These seeds are VERY TINY! Hard to separate, I tried to get around 6 seeds per small peat pot. I had to water at least 2 times a day, sometimes more as the peat pots absorb a lot of water. Out of the 500 seeds, I only have 36 that germinated. I am nursing them along hoping they all grow enough for me to plant them.

500 seeds?
Each envelope of 500 seeds is about a teaspoon full. We bought four packages and then four or five more. Kept the soil moist. None of them ever came up.
