Tayogo W12 Bluetooth Waterproof MP3 Player for Swimming IPX8 8GB,Underwater Headphones with Shuffle Feature, for Water Sports, Running, Diving-Yellow

This is a good blue tooth device to swim boring laps in an indoor pool for an hour, connected to a iphone hung at one end of the pool! sound quality is excellent (so long as you are not below the water for long); as to why blue tooth as opposed to MP3? well, allows me to simply play favorite current podcasts without prior prep work of downloading (you only listen once unlike music), etc. Now the downside: I have gone thru roughly one unit every 12-18 months, wear and tear of the delicate wire that exits the band or at the ear plugs (designed obscelescence?). I thought about reinforcing the wire but have never done so!!! The manufacturer should improve the delicate wire so it is longer lasting so the product could get 5 stars!

After purchasing three older versions of Tayogo W8 (not Bluetooth) from third-party sellers, which is not recommended as they contained Malware, I discovered the actual Tayogo store three pages deep into Amazon’s website.I wasn't paying close attention to what I was buying, because the photo looks like the W8, only to realize after I received it that Bluetooth came with it. With trepidation, I was opened to accepting modern technology.Through research, I found iTunes is not a compatible file format. A friend told me about the free MP3 website. I was able to download all of the music I wanted. They appeared in the Downloads Folder making it easy to highlight, copy and paste.Personally, I don't care about Bluetooth. I want one hour a day of solitude away from phones, radio with news coverage. It serves no purpose for me, but for the masses, it does, so Bluetooth is the current and future.Having to go through the app each time I use this MP is a nuisance. Admittedly, I'm still using iPhone 8, which may be the nuisance factor. I believe that the app isn't compatible, because the pause button doesn't work once the app and MP connect. Is this a flaw?My phone stays locked in the locker room. I can't chance taking the phone into poolside and have someone scoop it up when my back is turned.However, I did discover that once the music is playing, I can disconnect the app, leave the locker room and get in the pool with no interruption in streaming.But another issue arises when I'm done with water aerobics...I can't stop the music. I press and hold the pause button, but it doesn't stop. I played around and pressed reset, then the pause, and finally, the MP stopped. Is this issue due to no connection to my iphone?🤷‍♀️In the meantime, I went directly to the Tayogo website and found the older version W8 (no Bluetooth) and ordered it along with extra earplugs and an additional USB.The W8 alone can be purchased from Amazon, but single earplugs and USB are not available through Amazon.Just be sure the Tayogo product is purchased directly from Tayogo, not a third-party seller who may unwittingly be selling Tayogo infected with Malware.

I bought this product to help decrease the monotony of swimming laps. It is great that it has Bluetooth, mp3 and fm radio capability. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth really doesn't work well with swimming. I know there are limits on the capabilities of these types of products, but any type of water that gets on it distorts the reception. It doesn't work very well doing freestyle and anything on your back, forget about it.. I swim in a 25 yard pool having my phone in the middle while swimming on the lane next to the edge, so distance isn't the problem. But over all the mp3 has been working great. The fit in the ear is great, but the ear pieces do come off somewhat easy if you are frequently readjusting them. I did take another reviewer's advice in using some type of glue on the very precarious wire connections to try to increase their lifespan. I haven't tried the radio in the water yet, but I will try to update when I do. Overall, very good product and would buy again.

The device won't stay connected to my Mac as a USB Drive. It stays just connected long enough to drop a couple of MP3's . I am sure it needs a firmware update. The sound is OK but not great, Did not expect it to be awesome.The Headset fits comfortably altough it does put a little pressure over the ear. I just bent it open a little bit and it fits better.Instructions do NOT say how to pair it with your phone, but you can figure it out by messing around with it.The Instructions do not indicate how to go between modes (There is a little very hard to press button on the edge that does that)I haven't tried it in the water yet. Will update review once I doUpdate 08/05/18 : after being in the water for 20 minutes doing laps, the left earphone started to sound muffled. Yes, that could mean there is water inside of the earphone, but the issue persisted after it was let dry for a while.The headset cannot be placed in mp3 mode without the phone app. Unless there is a way this is also not acceptable, as you are never guaranteed to have your phone around. Or charged for that matter. The device should not impose that restriction.Update 08/14/18: The bluetooth function is great, but the devices cuts on and off even at close proximity. And there was Nothing around so interference was Not an issue

The product works okay and is certainly very promising, however, the larger sized “waterproof” earbuds needed for swimming were missing from the box. Only the smaller sized earbuds (see photo) were included and according the the manufacturers website, there should have been a larger size too. I contacted Amazon customer services and explained that I don’t wish to return the product for a refund. All I want is the missing parts to be sent to me. Unfortunately, they told me that since I’m in singapore and the order was fulfilled by Amazon US, that wasn’t an option. Very inflexible and poor customer service. No wonder almost no body in Singapore bothers with Amazon.

Excelente material de fabricación, si se puede nadar con ellos puestos y reproduciendo mp3, buena calidad de sonido, pero inestable en la conexión bluetools, y la selección de opciones algo confusas al principio, después terminas por entendelos, no se puede cambiar por carpetas en el mp3 y lo que si es malo es la recepción de radió.

Lo uso en mi alberca y me encanta cada vez tengo mas condición y nado mas gracias a mis audífonos geniales solo un detalle me gustaría que los audífonos los vendieran por separado pues ya se descompusieron los primeros que compré
