it is 8 inches wide and 12 inches long. the wife loves it. it covers her whole lumbar section.

Is the strap adjustable to make it fit snug on a chair?

The strap is adjustable, so should be able to fit a chair. I always used it in the van looped over the headrest.

There is a strap that can secure it to the car seat. This helps keep the cushion in place.
