We got this pop up tent for a multi-day beach trip. It folds up into a circular disk that is about 23 inches in diameter and a few inches thick. It pops up very easily. It stands up surprisingly well against light winds once we filled the side bags with sand and staked the corners. It is a good way to hide our belongings and provides some privacy for a nursing mother. It is not great at providing shade unless the sun is behind the tent, so it is still useful to have an umbrella, because you typically want to face the ocean regardless of the sun position.Folding up the tent is hard. We read the instructions and watched the youtube video, and it still seems like magic. Sometimes it folds up easily, other times we struggle with it for 5+ minutes. A woman on the beach with a similar tent offered to help us and also struggled with it. It eventually folds up, but this is not a smooth process.

Great in fine weather - just what you need, lightweight enough to take in your suitcase and carry onto the beach, put it up and take it down in minutes, easy peasy! We were chuffed with our tent for the first few days on the beach.Then the wind picked up. You know the type of breeze you get by the sea all the time (!!). Tent completely USELESS in a breeze, flaps about and collapses in on itself to the point you can't actually sit under it. Tents around me with solid poles barely even flinching!!

I love this for the beach. For one thing, it is way lighter than an umbrella, and won't hurt anyone like metal umbrellas have been known to do when they fly away. I also love that this one is unique. I am the only person on the beach with a watermelon canopy! This makes it easy for friends to find me if I'm meeting up. I love the sandbags that come with this in order to help it stay down, but I wish it came with a couple more. Other than that I love it. It is hard to pack back down, but I suppose I'll have to practice that more. It says 4 person, but I found it suitable for myself and my 2 nephews with room for our backpack, or for two adult beach chairs.

My fiancé and I are what I like to refer to as indoor cats. Even though we live in Florida and are less than an hour from the beach I haven't been in over a year. My lily white Irish skin hates the sun. So I NEEDED a tent or umbrella or something so I could pretend to be social and hang out with friends.I'm extremely glad I bought this beach tent! It is perfect. For $40 I cannot believe how great it worked even though it was super windy. I did use things like my beach bag and cooler to help anchor the tent down. I think one thing this tent could use is much much longer or many more sand bags to help anchor it. But for me this wasn't a problem because I liked having my stuff in it with me.The vents around it are genius. They are at the bottom so the tent had a breeze through it and it didn't let the sun in so we were in the shade all day.The color and fabric are spiffy. I happen to be an expert car sunshade folder so folding the tent was only a little awkward when I tried it at home. At the beach though I was able to fold it alone in seconds (maybe 15 or 20) with a strong wind. You know, the kind of wind that blew my friends sunglasses away and almost took my flip flops. But I was a pro the second time I folded it! So I'm thinking this would be good for a mom who's alone with little ones.Setting up the tent was funny. Basically unleash the kraken from its round pouch and it's all "I AM TENT! HEAR ME ROAR!" Really. I'm not sure but there may be some kind of wizardry involved.If I can figure out how to upload a photo I think you'll be able to see how much stuff I could pack into the tent including two adults.Also not a single seagull bothered us. I'm not sure if my über bright skin was blinding them or if the tent scared them but they didn't try stealing my doritos. I'm calling it a win.You can't borrow mine so I recommend you get your own.

Purchased this a week ago. Overall the product seems to have very good quality and it offers amazing space inside, easily enabling two people to use it. We did have a very hard time folding it back together and at the end we had to look for videos in youtube to find how to put it back into it's bag. It took us about 15 minutes to understand how we needed to fold it and but it back into its bag.

This tent/shade is bigger than anticipated. I think it should do the trick for our vacation, if we can get it back into the bag! Right now it's still in the living room up and open! LOL! We go on vacation on Sat and I do believe we will be able to get this in the bag and yes you can put it in your suit case which is the reason we bought it. Hoping this gives us shade in the hot Aruban sun.

We live close to the beach and we have a few beach tents purchased from a few sources. This one rates high with us for ease of use, weighted sand bags option and ease of cleaning off and folding up. All comparative to tents we have paid double or more for. The I think we have had this one for 2 years or so now. Still using it and it is still holding up to Eastern Carolina beach winds. If you need help folding up any of the “twist-fold” tents and you can’t understand the enclosed instructions, look it up on YouTube.

This tent was not a good purchase for me. I took it to Destin Beach and had practiced how to fold it up when it was time to go home and it would not fold back up. I spend over an hour before I decided this tent really did like this beach and left it there.I used it with one chair but it kept collapsing on me even after I put all the stakes into the sand. The idea is great but the materials it was made out of was flimsy materials that would not support the roof and the main thing was it did not fold up back into it case .
