Windows 10 has built-in drivers. They need to be installed for Windows 7 and XP.
I am sure this cable works as it should in Windows XP, 7 and 10. However, it did not work for me because I was using free software provided by Alinco. The software provided is old and has not been updated by the manufacturer for Windows 10, so it did not work for me. I have a different BlueMax49ers FTDI USB Programming Cable for a Yaesu radio, which works perfectly in Windows 10 with CHIRP programming software. The cable is built very well and has red and green LEDs on the USB connector to show data activity.
