24 Shades of Business: An Adult Coloring Book

I loved this coloring book! For so many reasons:It was great to see Black women being the protagonist. The message that this sends is so powerful. I was able to show my kids professional Black women in a coloring book. We need more of these types of coloring books.The drawings were done in a way that I could diversify the shadings of the women. I was able to color the women from very light brown to dark brown to reflect the various brown shades that I see in my Black community. It did not look like I was painting brown skin on a person with Eurocentric features.The lines/spaces were open and simple enough so that I could easily color within them. There are other adult coloring books where the spaces within the lines are so tiny I do not understand how they expect anyone to color. This one was so doable.The pictures themselves were just so engaging! This book kept me engrossed and practicing coloring and shading techniques...I actually switched to colored pencils, something I'd never used before. Then again, when was the last time I used a coloring book?The pages are one-sided and the quality is very good.I did have some critiques of the book:I thought there would be 24 pictures of professional women, but there are only 16. The other 8 pages are of puzzles, a To-Do List, material wealth items, and a church. I would have preferred that all 24 pages were of professional women. I would have loved to have colored a military officer, a nurse, a chef, an anchorwoman, a sanitation worker, a firefighter, a surgeon, a biochemist, a pilot. Maybe these will be included in your next book, which I am so waiting for? Wink, wink.Re: the church picture - The Black community is so diverse in religious beliefs from Black Catholics to Black Jews to Black Muslims to Black Buddhists, etc. If you do another house of worship picture, I would like to see one that is inclusive of all my sisters and celebrates that diversity within the Black community.So.....when are you dropping 24 Shades of Business Volume #2? Now I'm hooked!

The media could not be loaded.  I like the product, the price & the Business Affirmations....Love It! I really appreciate how the artist was intentional on inserting hidden gems of thought provoking statements of empowerment.....nice. I do hope that the next coloring books in this series would have thicker pages that will prevent color transfer & bleeding. The thin pages limits me to only being able to use colored pencils.....when I color, I like having the options to use colored pencils, colored pens & colored markers. Mrs. Nicole, will you be creating another coloring book series with thicker pages in the near future?

I was very disappointed to see that there wasn't 24 pictures of business inspired careers as it would suggest. There are other pages that are filler pages that I could have done without personal. I like the idea but it looks a bit rushed but it is only $10 so I like it for what it is.

I first saw a friend with this book and I absolutely had to have it! Of course, it was gifted to her and she had no idea where it was purchased so I googled and found it on Amazon and at Target (online). I ultimately purchased from Amazon since it was more convenient. Upon arrival and use, I found the pictures to be reflective of the entire professional spectrum of minority women, quality, easy to color, and great print size; not too small . This product is definitely one for keeps and to gift to others. I have since purchased the 80's and HBCU editions as gifts. This can also be a great adult coloring book for a swag bag or sip and color party!

I like this coloring book. Well drawn and print copied well. Great for when your manager decides to call for a 4pm meeting and you want to look busy on camera. A lot better than drawing stick figures running from the cops.

A beautiful coloring book of beautiful black women in 24 different careers. Each picture is beautifully detailed and look more real than cartoonish. The 24 faces are waiting to be colored whatever shade is desired from the lightest of creams to darkest of browns and blacks. They are all appropriately dressed and waiting for someone with imagination to make them come alive with colors. Highly recommend.

I love this coloring book. It is the first adult coloring book I have bought and I really enjoyed filling in the images with different colors of my choice. It is so relaxing. And I love love love the images of professional black women in different careers. I loved it so much. I bought another coloring book from this brand after I finished this one.

I love this item, it relaxes you, stimulate your mind and so peaceful.
