It's arrived!
Exactly what I needed. I had reported it as not arrived but arrived this morning. Hadn't taken into account the Royal Mail. Not working very well at the moment.

Stops the leak.
Just the job for repairing heavy duty 40mm OD pond hose. The diameter of the connector is about 37.5mm and it has to be pushed forcibly into the end of the hosepipe. I had to use a mallet to hammer it in. once in place it did a great job - no more leaks.
