Great trike and fantastic customer service!
This trike is great, and best of all, Puckipuppy customer service is fantastic! I’ll start with the trike itself. The trike is very well built, sturdy and comfortable to ride. The dual batteries keep you going for a long time, I can’t say an exact distance, but I have ridden it multiple times over the last 4 days, one of the times was over 20 miles, and it still shows ½ charge on the battery and almost all of those miles were throttle only! As for the speed, yes, it will do 25 mph, but for me that is WAY TO FAST! I am a 62-year-old man, and 12-15 mph is plenty for me. Of course, just because it will go 25 does not mean you have to go 25, and I will not again (only that once to test it out) LOL. When the grandkids are over, I am sure they will max it out (not to worry, my grandkids are in their late teens and early 20s and I will insure they wear a helmet)! Now to customer service, which in today’s world is the best part, as good customer service is rare these days. Chances are you will have no issues with your trike when you receive it, but unfortunately mine did, but Puckipuppy took care of it right away! The display unit was not working. I sent Puckipuppy a message and they responded within an hour! They gave me some trouble shooting tips, but they did not work so they sent me a new display which arrive in a couple of days. It was so simple to change out, unplug 2 wires and plug in the 2 wires of the new display, took about 45 seconds. Worked great, that is until I turned on the lights, then there was a little pop, and the display unit went out. I contacted Puckipuppy again and explained what happened and they said the issue must have been the headlight all along, so they sent me a new headlight and another new display unit. Those arrived quickly and the headlight was even easier to install, only 1 wire to unplug and then plug in. Powered it up and now everything works great!I have no qualms with the fact there was a minor fault with the trike when I received it, I understand we do not live in a dream world with sunshine every day, strolling through fields of roses with butterflies floating around and forest animals doing the housework for us. In the real-world stuff happens and you will save yourself from high blood pressure and ulcers if you don’t let the little stuff upset you! Also, all the parts for this trike are replaceable, most are sold on Amazon and the ones that are not are available on the Puckipuppy website.I did not intend to get so long winded. To sum it up, I highly recommend this trike and the Puckipuppy brand because of their superior customer service!

The trike is heavy duty.
The seat is in need of improving, its to small and not enough cushion to take the bumps.A tractor seat would work better, with adjustable shock absorber for driver weight.

Puckipuppy Husky Pro is equipped with some really nice features at a fair price.
I received my first Husky Plus electric tricycle about three weeks ago and have put approximately 125 miles on it thus far. I have been very impressed with the level of Customer Service offered by Puckipuppy. Their team has been very attentive, communicative, professional and accommodating. Shipping was straight forward and I found the bike to be well packaged and was pleased that the bike arrived undamaged. The assembly process was minimal and getting the bike initially set up was a breeze.I have found the quality of the bike to be very good as it is very well built and sturdy. Probably the best made bike currently on the market. The foldable feature is nice, once folded it fits in a Honda Passport (mid-size SUV) with ease. I have found the motor to be very powerful and the 160 mm hydraulic brakes paired with the twenty X four inch tires has made navigating the hills during my commute back and forth to work safe and comfortable.I researched electric tricycles for several weeks prior to purchasing and after having the opportunity to trial the Husky Plus feel that I made a solid decision.

I tried to buy spare batteries and couldn't, so I have to return it
The "110 mile range" is actually a bit misleading. You only get that in PAS1, which is a mode where you are doing almost all the pedaling and the motor and battery are used only to help you get over hills. The throttle-only range combining both batteries is more like 36 miles. If you are like me, where strenuous activity causes your blood pressure to drop to dangerous levels, that's just barely acceptable. This wouldn't be so bad if the batteries recharged in a couple of hours, i.e. you can make a 32-mile trip, recharge and head back home. But it takes 8 hours to recharge the batteries which is just too long. The best solution to this is to carry spare charged batteries with you for the ride back. But the manufacturer is sold out of the rear 18AH batteries and have no idea when they will have them back in stock again and they don't even sell spare15AH front batteries at all!So, I have no choice but to return the bike and accessories kit unopened and try to find another long-range e-trike manufacturer who actually has spare batteries in stock that they can sell you.Edit: Puckipuppy's customer service was able to find an extra 18AH rear battery for me and that partially alleviates the issue for me. They still don't sell the 15AH front battery though, even though the bike will not work without it. It will work without the rear battery, but you are limited to 480W at the motor and will have trouble getting over hills. Anyway, I went ahead and put the bike together. I was able to do that by myself even with medical issues although it would have been much easier with a second person helping me. They included all the tools necessary to put it together. I did the math, and I will still have to do some pedaling to do that 64-mile round trip, but it looks manageable if I take the medication midodrine to raise my blood pressure during the ride. I changed my review from one to four stars for their excellent customer service.Edit 10/28/2024: I had a massive 600AH LiFePo4 12V battery that I was using for the off-grid solar power of several rooms in my house to save electricity, but several years ago I replaced the 10,000-Watt inverter with several smaller tie-inverters that added the solar power directly to the AC line of the whole house without needing batteries. So, I was able to convert that battery to the 48V needed to power the trike using a 1000W 12V to 56V high efficiency converter with an XT60 connector to boost the rear battery. This gives me a 120-to-250-mile throttle-only range (depending on hills) and can be recharged at up to 200 Amps, meaning that after 250 miles you can recharge in just three hours and go another 250 miles. The battery takes almost all the space in the storage basket, but I can strap a separate crate (with a locking lid to make it rain-proof) on the top of it if needed. This basically eliminates the range limit entirely. There is a down-side towards hauling this big battery though. It weighs about 100 pounds. Although the manufacturer says the trike can handle up to 500 pounds, I found that hauling just 100 pounds of cargo can make this thing crawl up hills. I'm talking 2mph or even less. I haven't found any hills that it can't climb yet but 2mph can get pretty frustrating when you are going for 100-mile rides.

Sturdy and solid
Positive: This was a good experience and not too difficult to assemble. Sturdy bike. Easy to ride and goes smoothly. The company was responsive and followed up whenever we needed them.Negative: The worst thing was being charged $400 for shipping and then not being able to locate the box and did not receive it for a Month! FedEx never responded until the end. Very frustrating.
